It's been such a weird season, at times looking disastrous, at times playing some seriously good football. Hazard and Oscar are now adjusting to the PL, after teetering on dropping out of the top we're back in 3rd and we're still in two cup competitions.

Generally playing well at the moment. With better finishing we would have won 5 or 6 nil. Creating chances which is good. Mata/Hazard/Oscar need to improve their finishing though. Ba has had an off day, thats all, happens to everyone. Havent needed him to score though thankfully.

With Ba on form it could have been 4 or 5 - we played some fantastic stuff today. Good win for us and Spuds and City both losing.....good weekend

Back up to 3rd with a game in hand on Spuds, and 5 points clear of Arsenal. Maybe the doom-mongers worried that the cups will cost us a top 4 place will relax a little more!

Don't count your chickens it's still bloody tight for that top four spot - after the internationals we will be looking at playing five games in two weeks including a punishing trip abroad.

It could still all go pear shaped - I'd talked earlier about sacrificing the Europa League but we're the best team left in it. It's just a matter of having enough left in the tank to produce our best.

Congratulations to Lampard on getting number 200, that is indeed a very significant number.

We might balls it up, but there's no reason to suspect that will happen at the moment. It's not over-confidence, it's just that i tend to worry more about things if they actually look like happening, not when there's a decent chance that they won't. They mentioned in the commentary that we've played 20 games more than West Ham this season. Considering we'd just played Thursday, tiredness didn't seem to be anything of an issue today.

Hazard is looking to be a fantastic buy. Glad he chose us.
