It's a question maybe worth asking? Did anyone have any issues voting for Christopher?

Chris got 16.8% of the vote so some people must have been getting through.

Of course! Phone votes for Christopher Maloney were diverted to James Arthur!

It was in payment for all the phone votes diverted for seven weeks from James Arthur to Christopher Maloney.

Give me even more to consider, I beg you!

Offcom would kill them for this. I'm afraid it's about as likely to have been deliberately done as Martians shooting JFK from the grassy knoll.....

James won the two weeks before the final with over 40%, just accept he won it.

if you look at how the voting percentages break down, it was james surviving the sing off against ella that catapulted his votes through the roof. it shocked people into voting for him. chris was winning comfortably before that point, but after james was getting ~40% of the votes each week.

Yes, of course they were. Despite the fact that phone votes are monitored to the nth degree, I'm sure no-one would ever have found out.

I didnt vote at all until after Ella left and then voted for James a couple of times each week.
Before the semi finals less than a million votes were received each week so only a small proportion were voting. By the time of the final, number of votes had more than tripled.
I think anyone who was going to vote for Chris was already voting for him before the semifinals and acts like James picked up the new votes.
This was the same for acts like Eoghan and Janet that had strong sustained leads in the first seven shows but dropped away as more people voted.

That doesn't answer the question. Fact is Chris was dominating every week with votes then suddenly he LOSES 20% of his voting numbers last 2 weeks?

This is more cheat worthy than Gareth Bale's dives.

The votes are wider spread due to more acts in the first weeks. once a person's favourite act goes they switch their vote to someone else. The year Aiden went out, I voted Matt Cardle afterwards coz he was my 2nd fave. As soon as Ella went her votes went to James by the looks of it!!

I'm the same, always thought James would be safe, so never bothered to vote in first few weeks but seeing him in bottom 2 shocked me so I voted every week after

Not really. A similar number of people probably voted for Chris in the final than in previous weeks. The only difference is that more people voted for James in the last few weeks (after he was in the bottom 2) than in previous weeks. As there were more overall votes cast, a similar (or even slightly higher number of votes) for Chris, translates into a high percentage drop.

For example:

1 million votes cast (400,000 for Chris) = 40%

3 million votes cast (500,000 for Chris) = 17%

So even though more votes were cast for Chris than in previous weeks, his percentage went down.

aren't people hearing a LOT of anecdotal evidence that votes for Christopher were somehow being diverted so that they registered as votes for James???

are you Chris in disguise????

He didnt LOSE 20%!! More people voted for James (or multiple times) the week after he was in bottom 2 (including me)! it means he had more votes, it doesnt mean any less people voted for Chris. he prolly had the same amount of votes e.g. say in the weeks he won he had 100,000 votes, he could still have 100,000 votes in the final but james got 400,000 this week instead as more people voted!!

THERES NO CONSPIRACY!!! You should have studied maths a little more at school!
