...and when Den went out with the brown envelope, Markus turned up shortly after.
AND..... tonight Den offered to buy the pub saying he would get it eventually and then Markus told Sam she HAD to sell the Vic. Think Den is making sure Sam is left with nothing. |

I certainly think Marcus is up to something dodgy. He's not been straight with Sam all along.

I don't think Marcus is up to anything dodgy myself because later this week when Sam sells the Vic, Den hands over a load of cash for it.
What bothers me is IF Phil is on the run from the police and a gang somewhere, this surely makes it even HARDER for him to return than ever before. Why are the EE writers making life so difficult for themselves. Unless of couse it transpires Marcus is not telling Sam the whole truth and that Phil is actually going to Brazil to be with Peggy and Grant! |

i think myself that sam will be left with nothing and with minty. There are rumours that her character will attempt suicide next year some time, that leads to peggy returning . not sure if phil and grant will return with peggy but as we know nothing has been confirmed on steve mcfadden or ross kemp yet

i posted this in todays other ee forum but the reply now seems more relevant here.....
i think the only way they can bring back phil is if like marcus said that phil is not just on the run from the police but someone else, i reckon that police woman who put phil away will want these ppl after phil more than phil himself and that phil will know things to put them away, hence he strikes a deal where he gets off (or at least has a good few months of prison scenes on his return) with it if he helps her put these ppl in jail. a mitchell helping the cops (i know) but apart from this, i cant see any other way how he could be brought back into EE. |

This could set up for Phils return. Lets say he is running away from some gang, perhaps he has turned informer and needs to get out of the country, that way the Police drop all the charges allowing Phil to easily return in the future.
Now when Andy goes Sam can end up with his money, again when/if Phil returns this allows Sam to go into business with Phil. Im sure she will be alot harder and make sure there is equality between herself and Phil. I dont believe Marcus is working for Den, I think that would spoil the Marcus character whos relationship with the Micthells is great. |

Would you give a local criminal and part time woman beater like Fil Mitchell:
Police protection – NO! Would you be willing to cut a deal with a man who is as small time as Fil – NO! Can Fil realistically ever return to the square – NO! Is Kim Medcalf really as "thick" as she seems - Allegedly Yes! Do I want Fil to ever return to the square – NO! |

I've got an idea Phil goes on the run to Thailand, where he is arrested by Police in Bangkok's Kwif Save stocking up on low brand bamboo shoots. He is tried then found guilty and sent to 40 years hard labour. Within 2 weeks he is pardoned by the Thai King as part of Thailand's National Holiday - where the King pardons dozens of prisoners, and allowed to leave prison and return to Walford, where no questions are asked by the residents or Marsden & co. |
