Ok its coming up to Christmas in soapland what storyline do you remember as I kid or growing that would stand out for you
could be a happy one, sad one, or even one from eastenders
this is one I remember I was 9 at the time and found it quite upsetting when Jamie Mitchel died in 2002 was allowed to watch it in my bedroom .

Christmas 2004 on Corrie deserves a mention with the Karen/Tracy showdown on the factory roof, leading to Karen's exit.

Tiffany Mitchell tragically being mowed down by Frank Butcher on Millenium eve and dying on the pavement in Bianca's arms! I worked in a pub at the time, everyone was glued to the screen, it was deathly quiet and you could have heard a pin drop. Tiffany's eye's glazed over which was followed by a collective sharp intake of breath, nobody could believe she was dead! It was so sudden, dramatic and tragic after that previous awful tumble she'd had down the vic stairs then she was flattened by Frank's motor the poor girl! As a fan i was extremely traumatised!

Oh yes, this is probably the most memorable EE moment ever for me and one of my earliest memories of the show. Back when the show was consistently amazing.

Mine was when Louise killed Ray on Emmerdale. Very unexpected and quite gruesome for a festive episode!
