ED Robbies back
Tonight Robbie returned and better than ever before. If they play their cards right with him he could be the new village bad boy.

If they play their cards right and recast him then yes he could! That boy who plays him is beyond hopeless who drags the character down!

JR: in general i agree with what you said about his acting.
However, in the live eppy i thought his acting was perfectly acceptable. He seemed more focused and had an intensity that isn't usually there with him, but if he can do it under pressure then it's a bit odd that he can't when he's not under pressure. Anyway, you like Bernice, and she's hardly Judie Dench, so as always in soaps, it's more about whether we enjoy watching the character than the actual quality of the acting. |

Oh why would an ill wheelchair bound Katie agree to the sex pest being back in her home ? Her and Megan where just vile to her from day one. she just wouldnt. Why not stick them both in Ashley and laurels old house?
As for the clear plot they both have to get their money off Declan, how tedious and obvious. Mind you Im sick of the rubish SLs atm, they seem to forget we can remember what happened a few months ago like with Paddy and Marlon but just brush over facts and bobs your uncle their all great mates again..... grrrrr |

I'll always remember only a few months ago that Robbie and Megan had a supposed heartwarming mother and son talk with each other laying down what they felt about each other and it was a complete disaster there was no connection or real emotion in it and you couldn't feel sorry for the characters! A week later Kerry and Amy had pretty much the same stuff and that just clicked you felt for both characters the actors worked magically with each other to create that moment between them! On paper the character of Robbie is a good character but in real life he is a complete embarrassment! Maybe i'm going a bit to harsh on the actor but he is completely out of his depth playing Robbie and badley needs to improve and fast! |

I think with Bernice is that Samantha Giles hasnt had anything major to show herself off yet unlike Jamie Shelton who has had heaps and heaps of material to get himself and the character across with the viewers and with this viewer he has bombed!

It's took them all this time to get a bigger box for him to stand on?! He is far too tiny to be a villain!

The character of Robbie could be great - but he isn't. The actor is beyond bad - everything he says is one long slur with no emotion at all. When he has dialogue with Megan there is nothing - no link or chemistry- between them at all. It is poor viewing.

The new bad boy? Can't wait to see him go up against Cain. What a comedy episode that would be, with Cains hand on Robbie's head whilst Robbie swings his arms about trying to get a punch in.

Actually Hitler, Mussolini and Stalin were all 5 foot 7 and under so it's not unusual for baddies to be on the wee side. It does irritate me tbh that Rob's size is mentioned so much. I do think there's too much emphasis on this and if he was 6 foot he really wouldn't receive the level of criticism he does.
