So now for the trial and everybody agreed Jessica and Ruth should do the trial except Eammon who was a bit nervous for his wife. They chose Martine, Eammon and Alan to wave them off and the camp predicted they would win around 4/10 stars. The trial involved 2 giant ladders both identical. Attached to the ladders are 10 boxes each containing a star on a coil however on the other ladder there are no stars and the boxes contain jungle nasties. The celebrity on the left (Jessica) must climb the ladder and put her hand into the boxes, when she gets the star she must pass it to Ruth who will grab it and put it in her box attaching it to the coil. However every minute one step of the ladder will fall. They have 10 minutes. For the first 3 stars they both seem calm as the critters are beetles, scorpions and flies. However the next 3 are a slight problem as when Ruth is stood on a step it collapses making her really nervous for the next three animals- scorpions, cockroaches and rats. Jessica however remains calm and they manage to win one more star which contains toads. They have won 7/10 stars and both seem quite happy. When they returned all the camp were shocked at their success.
