BT Infinity & Online Gaming
Hi all,
Just ordered BT Infinity and I know that they cap P2P during peak hours but will this affect my online gaming? I don't mind the P2P cap but I will be unimpressed if the speed restriction starts affect gaming!! Does anyone have any experience? Thanks |

The only thing that may restrict your gaming is the Home Hub.
We have 3 Xbox's and sadly it can't cope and give all of them open NAT's. If you just have one Xbox then you should be fine. |

I work for BT and have Infinity for free and I never have any problems with online gaming. We have two xbox's in the house and getting a ps3 for xmas. Never any lag.

Personally don't get anything bellow 50Mb during even the most busy hours, during offpeak it's back up to 80Mb. More than enough for online gaming.
