I have been going to all the UK cons for shows I like for about 6 years now, but Comicon and Dragoncon are the ones I would give my back teeth to go to. Problem is, I suffer from a musculo-skeletal disorder and flying ramps up my pain 100 fold, and that's just flying to London or Birmingham. I have no doubt that flying to America would leave me in such a mess as it would not be worth it. Should I ever get my condition completely under control, I will go to Comicon, I WILL!!!
It would be one of the things on my bucket list. |

Oh I will, I would take out a loan if I had to, I want to squee at Game of Thrones while all the people I love in it are still alive.
On the show obviously, not in real life. Ach, I will keep the faith that one day I will get to meet him and all the others, preferably in the UK due to my pain, but America one day LOL |

YAY!! I sometimes feel like I shouldn't be into sci fi, HO and cartoons as I think folk look at me as if I am weird. That is until you umbrella your entire life under being a geek, then it doesn't matter what age you are, coz you are a geek
![]() And now we have all been confirmed as family you all have to accept it too!

And now we have all been confirmed as family you all have to accept it too!![]() I am all kinds of geek. But I do live my tech. Currently in love with my Samsung S3 with Spotify, and being able to play it through my car stereo via blutooth and having my music anywhere I want on my big old subwoofer in the boot

Hi everyone
How are you all tonight?God I can't believe Dublin is so close! How did we get here?! and I don't just mean the last few months, I mean at all! I can't believe Stendan is actually happening! For so long I genuinely believed it was not a viable option because the show would never let it happen. Dance around the possibility maybe, but not actually give it to us! It just makes me so happy and excited! On another note though, I just got off Uni today for Christmas and I was talking to my flat mate (the guy I usually talk about Stendan stuff with) and he was talking about how he hopes for my sake that the Ste and Brendan storyline is over by the time my Summer exams come about or my failure will be their responsibility. I said it would most likely be well over by then, and then I mentioned that Dublin is next week and he said "Oh really? Are you sure?" and I said "Yes but you'll be glad to know I will be at home so you won't have to listen to me go on about it." and he said "I like hearing about it. I wouldn't ask if I didn't!" I was so shocked! I genuinely thought he only asked because he knew I had no one else to talk about it with and I'm ready to burst. Then we talked about 'The Fall' and how hot we think Emmett is with all facial hair (beard, moustache and no-moustache.) He likes him most without a mustache, I like everything... Anyway that wasn't really anything important, but I knew you guys would appreciate how great it is when someone who doesn't follow Hollyoaks or Stendan at all is actually interested in hearing about the storyline! Having someone to rant to in real life is seriously satisfying! Anyway, yes, Hello! ![]() BH |

I know it's really close now but how long is this weekend going to seem?
I've got to admit I'm a bit worried that the Fall isn't going to be as good as I had hoped, they firstly announced it for Autumn, when all the really big dramas are shown and then as January and now as March. And it's on BBC2 not BBC1, I might be completely wrong and they are saving it for a time when there is not much else on but it doesn't fill me with confidence. |
