Do you think they put in fake spoilers to make a poor attempt to throw us off?

Wednesday E4:

Carmel's insecurities grow as she questions her relationship. Has Nana's plan backfired?

Meanwhile, Nancy fears the worst when she receives a call from the hospital.

Elsewhere, when Maxine struggles to keep her promise, can she keep another secret from her sister?

Also today, Brendan's father Seamus makes a surprise arrival in the village…
I don't know how all that is fitting in with the stuff in Dublin.

I doubt it. They probably just shiftied it around a bit. If that gives Brendan more screen time with Ste, that's great.

It did feel quite rushed to me at the end of tonights, it belted along towards their big OMG reveal with Ste barging in. But if that means more time tomorrow, I'm all for it.

Hmmm yeah, like the spoilers aren't actually for this week but next instead or maybe bumped down to the end of the week after Dublin?

I'm kind of glad they rushed it because it means we'll get to the bridge quicker. Yay

Dodi, I am totally a chair shipper in gossip girl

Back to the episode, wow it was better than I thought as I did not think we'd see ste in Dublin tonight. I still can't wait for brendan to find out that they know each other. Btw did jpendan even know each other's names before they got down to it, dirty men
Their interaction in the pub I thought was funny, especially when brendan was telling him his history with Eileen and JP didn't care

Stug's goodbye was kind of sweet but I wish they weren't left in the open and they just broke up but we know its over

I ignore the other thread now especially when I read that anyone involved with brendan will just be brought down

But hey happy thoughts because tomorrow's e4 is going to be amazing

I'm thinking we will get much less screen time for the rest of the week they need to add the axed stuff from tonight

I don't know, but I guess they make changes quite late sometimes, so the episodes pack more of a punch. Some might get shifted later, and some might be cut, like the Brendan/Mitzeee boxing stuff.

I'm so excited for tomorrow. I don't really know totally what to expect, when they'll get to that damn bridge, but I hope they don't keep us hanging on too long.

I think they'll probably get to the bridge before the break, then they'll talk/argue for a scene of two.

Then Stendan

They might just cut it though. Loads of things seem to get edited out at the last minute. I've still got my fingers crossed that we'll get loads. And this time, actual Brendan and Ste. No Doug. No JP. No nobody. Just them.

Yeah, you're probably right. I just need to let tomorrow unfold, and enjoy what we get.

Still upset that we missed the Britzee boxing scenes. Why can't they put some of the deleted scenes online?

I think the slight rushing tonight, and the crowbarring of plot points, felt as if they were for the purpose of getting things into place for the story they want to tell, which is Stendan finding their way back to each other. I *think* they'll do it justice. It'll never be enough for us, but it'll be more than we've dared hope for.

I wasn't all that bothered by that really - probably a good laugh, but just a bit of filler, and I liked the conversation they had. It only bugs me when we lose bits of Brendan/Ste dialogue really - like the bit eff told us about where Ste described Brendan to Cheryl.

What I'd love to see online is outtakes. I'm dying to see one of Emmett's famous corpsing sessions.

I'd love to see out takes. Kinda annoys me that on these outtake programmes on TV eastenders, corrie, Emmerdale they all send in out takes and HO never does

It's true, I don't think we've ever seen any HO outtakes have we?

You can bet your life they've kept them at Lime for their own amusement.

We'll definitely get JP tomorrow as James tweeted about having a more prominent part in tomorrows E4.

Just saw the ep again, and yeah, it really is all about tomorrow and Wednesday. Today was more for the Stug breakup and JP. I really needed to get him thinking about Ste during the bar chat, cos after the phone call from Cheryl, he just seemed all about wallowing in his latest funk and getting his rocks off, so this episode isn't worth rewatching.
And the bar stuff was pointless, as was the shag. Let's hope JP serves an actual purpose early and quickly tomorrow then leaves, otherwise they just should have skipped the soap indulgence and had him re-enter directly into the McQueens, and Stendan could have stuck to what's relevant.
There really had better be Ste empowered and calling Brendan out on all the foolishness. It's his fight now, always has been, and he needs to beg to win.
Also, the JP thing is just so icky and difficult for when it happened. If I were Ste, I wouldn't want to sleep in that bed and have sex with Brendan that night, and Brendan shouldn't be as up for it either. I wonder how they'll sort it out, but this is HOs, so they'll do what they want. Surprised they didn't have Ste have sex himself beforehand.
