Loved the episode!

Ste and Doug's goodbye was actually very sweet but I did go 'Oh god' when they inevitably set the Stug reunion after Emmett's exit, Brendan was great as usual and John Paul was chubby. Was he always chubby? Not that that's a problem- I actually like the character of John Paul. The ending was purely there for shock but I can't wait to see Ste and JP's reactions to each other- as well as Brendan's. Was great that the storyline was the A List story, but we really could have done without the Dodger parts. Although I'm starting to admire Liberty's cleavage which is something I never thought I would say.

Hullo. I won't be back till after 9/10 tonight. I'll watch the ep when I get in, can't wait

I've decided not to talk about JP anymore. I do think last night's episode in general was some weird way to get fans talking/annoy them with the two fingers up to McDean in any way they could and I'm not gonna rise to it. I'd be more upset if we weren't getting Stendan so... yeah, hopefully that'll be the last I need to say on it.
I finish work at 9 so gutted I'm missing it live but it's something to keep me going at work

The twitter buzz last night is why I don't follow many people. It just goes into complete overdrive.

I think my favourite parts of last nights episode were definitely Brendan with his family (I want Ste to help him win them round and have Paddy to stay ), Ste's line to Cheryl about how much Brendan meant to him, Brendan's memories of his wedding and Eileen's cheap red flowers and dancing bladdered to Milennium, and Ste's little face as he raced down that corridor.

I liked Ste's little chat with Cheryl about Brendan too. The scene with Brendan and his family broke my heart. Elieen was such a bitch to him but, in fairness, she does have reason, I suppose. It really bothers me to think that might have been Brendan's last contact with his boys before he (possibly) dies. I really really - more than anything - want him to get that sorted out. I hate the thought of him dying believing his kids hate him.

I follow very few HO people these days, so my timeline is usually pretty quiet, I think missD is the liveliest one I have now

I find it hard to keep up on here coz the pages go by so quickly and by the time I've wrote a reply it gets lost in the other 100s of posts

Good choices. I think they're my favourite parts from last night too. I got a bit choked when Ste said that Brendan means more to him than he'll ever know.

Oh, and Paddy must come over for a visit.

Also, I was rewatching the end of the episode this morning, and I especially love Ste's little strut down the corridor.

I think they should have had the boy who played Wee Brendan in Later playing Padraig.

Yeah I might have to unfollow a few people, not because I don't like them or anything but just because if you follow two people who talk to each other loads it tends to swamp your timeline, I'm guilty of it myself but I can't be doing with 85 OMG, oh I know OMG tweets every 3 minutes.

Those ears.

That would have been a fab idea. Except maybe he wasn't Irish - he never actually spoke. And I loved the little Paddy we got, he was cute as a button and looked just like a little Brendan really.

The look on Ste's face when he walked down that corridor and into the room was very giddy and determined! It was like he had decided to walk in to the room and offer himself on a plate - until he saw ol' lard arse that is!
