Hi all. Long time lurker coming on to say hello. Im an avid poster on the Chryed thread but i love Brendan and im also a fan of Stendan but Brendan is my main one. I hope you dont mind me joining up here. Im not an avid writer on these threads so i wont be on often and with Brendan leaving next year then ive probably left it too late to talk about him.

Ive hated the last few months of Stug but not because Ste should be with Brendan, just that Doug was a good character until Emma made Ste hug him gay. Doug was one of my favs. i loved last xmas with his Wonderful life style story but this story with Ste has turned him bunny boilerish and whinny. How Ste has put up with him i dont know.

So a bit about me. Ive got 2 kids. Lily born last October and Jayden born in November. I got married in June when my lovely husband surprised me with a secret wedding when i was 5 months pregnant. I got pregnant with my second child whilst i was a member on the Chryed thread and i felt like they went through it with me. Going to be an aunty twice in the next few months as well. Also want a third baby by next xmas.

As I wasn't a McDean fan then I wasn't bothered about James coming back alone but in saying that I can appreciate why McDeans are upset as even though one part of me would love Stendan to leave together I also know that there would be a good chance that Kieron would return and they would break up Stendan and I would be heartbroken at that.

It's not the dominance, it's more the trauma of being raped I am thinking of.

Welcome shortiefluff! I used to really love Chryed too. Posters from that thread have always been lovely to us.


I know it was unrealistic that two nineteen/twenty year olds would be together forever, but it was just a really special story, and refreshing to see a gay couple end up happy together, when often in tv/films one side cheats or dies.


Definitely in my top 5 favourite episodes.

I think that is why he'd only ever let someone he truly loved be the one. I think of it in the same way that a female who had been raped would be a lot more cautious about sleeping with someone afterwards. It would take a lot of trust, and he has that with Ste.

I need the shirt to make another appearance and I need it to be a powerful one.
