Kieron really did play the bad guy well, and I know what you mean about his way of delivering the lines and being vicious. He played the conflicted attacker/victim well too - the scenes with his mum and Terry were always incredible.
Haha I do remember thinking the same when they brought in the Costellos and Mitzeee, the rest of the Sharpes, Brendan and Bart. I was like 'mooore characters?' But then they brought in all the students and sixth formers at once, and suddenly Brendan's arrival crew didn't seem so big
I'm not surprised it was confusing, sometimes you can leave Hollyoaks for a while (I did during Calvin's last months) and pick straight up from where you left it and other times it's harder to get back into it.
