Louis Smith used to be a street dancer.

Nothing story really but at least we now know he has had some dancing experience.
Bit difficult to find contestants who've never ever danced, not ever. It's obvious even Lisa has extensive experience of the hokey cokey.

Well then my 13 year old will walk next year's series because he had 9 months of street dance lessons. The only drawback is he's not famous.

9 months! Dirty ringah!

Of course, my son only had one tap lesson but he's a 28 year old who's always had plenty of girls running after him so he could pick up the ovary vote.

My kids are ringahs too. Years of jazz and tap and, in the case of daughter, ballet as well. I only ever had to learn Scottish dancing at school but I'm still better than them. They're sh*te.

I did tap and ballet when I was about five and went to a kids' drama group when aged about 10-12 where we learned the Charleston. Mind you I was actually in Chicago! I'm in!!

*pokes thread*

Main forum indicates that StrictlyTabitha is the last poster, but I can't see a post by her here. Wonder if it's an invisipost that DS used to specialise in...

And it is. Well done DS.

Dunno - I know that another person posting afterwards can make the original invisipost show up. I think DS is having a bit of a brainfart - perhaps the servers are having a bit of a snooze now to cope with the impending WOZROBBED this weekend?

I think there's a slight difference between messing around and having dance offs with your friends as kids & having formal lessons. Or does this mean that all the times I spent practicing Spice Girls routines in my bedroom as a kid in the 90s mean that I would be classed as a ringer too if I ever made it on SCD?
I'm Ok then <phew> ... I used to copy Pans People and Legs & Co and anyone who's ever seen one of their routines knows there's not much dancing

Please may I just highly appreciate Yorkshire winning the bid to host the start of The Tour de France in 2014. Beyond excited

Yes for Leeds
And Sheffield too, hopefully - in which case can do it without need for any hotels. I may feel the need for a squee

I think they get special pedlo boats for the crossing ...

I get horribly sentimental about Leeds, even more so when something big happens. I'd have given my right arm to be there for the Brownlee brothers' reception.

Gosh you're lucky. Try not to start hyperventilating too soon - you need to be back here in one piece next September.....

I just want Lisa out tomorrow and after that I don't care who wins. Is this too much to ask?

Hasn't he learned anything from spouting about his favourites in the past? They go out the first opportunity the public gets to vote them out.

Why can't he just shut up until after the final, the others can do it, why can't he?

Is it reverse psychology to get us to vote for the others? Or is he just as stupid as he appears?
