O2 data bolt on compatibility
I brought a sim free iPhone 5 today for the misses. She is currently on O2 and on a tariff from 2010. I know that I will have to get a nano sim and get her number transferred over but will I need to make sure that the data bolt on that I have is iPhone compatible or should it be ok? I myself had an iPhone 3GS back in the days and recall the APN settings were different.

Just give them a ring on 202. I phoned them today as my contract will expire in January and I have now reduced my tariff from £26 to £10.50. Only get 100mb data instead of 500mb but you can up it or change the tariff at any time. She checked and said I don't go near 100mb and even if I did they would just send a text advising me and offering me more data or I could just continue using it but at a lower speed. (I usually use wifi) 300 minutes, unlimited text and 500 mins 02 to 02. Might be worth a call to them.
