She has been the significant female adult in Lola's life since she arrived in the square so of course it's her business. She's not just going to stand by and watch him ruin more lives.

Shirley would hardly be regarded as a reliable witness. Phil's counsel would start off by asking her how much she had to drink at the time and that would be the end of that. That's the problem with being a horrible, two bit lush.

Yes, I hate the way he snubbed poor Lola's clothes that she brought for her little girl, Lexi and the way he's trying to shut Lola out of her daughter's life :mad. That man shouldn't be around kids.

Yes she is bitter about all she has lost but Phil is even more bitter. That's why he's conned Lola out of her child and is out to take Sharon away from Jack. Shirley wants to hurt Phil and she's being honest about it. Phil continues to hurt the innocent whilst pretending to be benevolent.

Yes, but I think he's also bitter about his life in general. He may have money but he has failed in every other way. He has nobody unless he can get Lola and Sharon, but I don't see that happening.
Even my Billy has more than him. Kids and a grandaughter that love him and he is friends with his ex. and with Janine and Alfie.

Phil will be fine as soon as he bins Shirley off. She just spoils everything for him.

They seemed to have used shirley as a plot device for phil/sharon now shes turning into a denise type character. Hardly ever getting any screentime this is what i was dreading

To be honest, I am glad Shirley is finally moving on from Phil and at least she won't be too bitter anymore. Having said that, I do want Shirley to expose Phil's plans of Lexi. I wouldn't say Shirley is becoming a Denise type character as she is probably taking a backseat for now. I am confident Shirley will have some big storylines next year.

I wanted it to play out like that too. That she wouldnt be bitter but still help lola etc but it seems like phil will play nice over lexi now cos of sharon. Why didnt he do that from the start

Yeah I was confused about that too. I am disappointed Phil and Sharon may end up together. They should stay friends only. I really hope Sharon will find out about Phil's part in Dennis' death and finding out Phil's true colours, eg: Lexi

I cant see phil choosing to leave her through choice for steves panto break
