She said 'we apologise if anyone was offended by Bruno's language earlier' or words to that effect!

If it was an adult show then I wouldn't have batted an eyelid but, it's a family show and Len should have known better, same goes for Bruno.

I wondered why Tess was making an apology because Len's comment went right over my head as far as offensiveness goes.

It was just a joke and I wasn't offended in the least. Craig said something similar to Dani and he was more crude than Len.

Fanny is a girls name.

So why is everyone so upset over this word being used on television?

Children hear much worse at school, in the street etc.

Anyone who allows their child to watch people dancing in very revealing clothes surely would not have a problem with such a word?

Children can see cleavage, male trouser bulges, bare male chests, ladies underwear etc but cannot hear a word that is a female name? How bizarre !

It seems people just want something to complain about.

I thought it was fUnny and it went over kids heads so don't get upset on their behalf. I especially liked the bit when Brucie rebuked Len. It was like a father being disappointed with a son.

We heard it quite clearly - perhaps the show is live after all, always assumed they had, say, a 15 minute delay to cover up any mishaps. perhaps a bit strong for that time of night but we didn't see much wrong with it - Len's was probably a worse innuendo because he said he saw the razzle dazzle when she kicked. Neither comment is that bad imho.

What I do HATE and why I would love to see Len go is the bad way he reacts to the audience jeering his comments when they are not appreciative. I don't know what someone in the audience said to him but he got quite upset - he needs to be professional and rise above it. But I think the whole thing has gone to his head and he now thinks he's a star. Sad, as he used to be ok.

Tess apologised for making a c*ck up of reading out Lisa's telephone number.

BTW in the USA "fanny" refers to a different part of the body, pehaps Len thought he was on DWS, With the "fusion" last week, the "confusion" is perhaps understandable.

Odd that the numbers of people viewing has gone up and up each week despite the droves of easily offended people turning off.

That's often the case, you need to have a dirty mind to be offended. I was once listening to Radio 4's" Chambers" in the car whilst taking some friends' son home. They used a word that some might consider rude. I just said nothing and he never realised there was anything out of the ordinary about it, just a funny sounding word.

Just a bit of fun. Some people need to get out more.

There's nothing wrong with saying the word 'fanny' on a family show any more than going on and on about Mrs Slocombe's pussy was offensive in some 80s sitcom. Sadly some people are just waiting to be offended.

When the audience were laughting at some joke or other I saw Len turn to the audience and said "It was not that funny, for Christ sake"!! I am sure I heard it correctly. He looked very irritated.

I am sure he was pleased with the reaction. But he wanted to move on and talk, but he couldn't, because everybody was still laughing.
