Just watching Girls Aloud Doucmentry and it made me remember how much I loved pop stars the rivals does anyone else think that they should bring it back it thought the format worked really well and it would be great to find new UK Groups.

I always thought they should have a 'Battle Of The Bands' type TV show where they perform their own songs - I suppose it could work on something like Channel 4?

And possibly they could create mixed bands because let's face it, do we really need another boy band in the charts...

No

We are really not low on bands like we used to be. Especially boybands. Unless it it is a mixed-gender type band they are looking for like S-Club

^ I agree. There's plenty of girl and boy bands out there at the moment all ready.

I thought having two similar boybands on the XF this year was a bit boring.

C4 did have a show called Orange UnsignedAct where the acts performed their own songs, it ran for a couple of years but was cancelled. I personally liked it, I still listen to some of the acts that were on the final year, including Bo Bruce.

No I don't want all One Direction Vs Little Mix thank you.

Just more manufactured pop and were full of it.

I've been thinking this for years!!!
Popstars The Rivals SHOULD return.... The TV talent show gave us the biggest girl band to come from the UK in the past ten years - Girls Aloud.

X Factor is in it's 10th year next year & lets be honest, the big stars to come from that show have only come from the past 4/5 series!

I think itv would be justified in bringing it back (it found genuine talent who have made a mark in pop music history) where as i'm not so sure how you can justify ANOTHER series of XF.
Most artist from that show have had at most 3 albums!?? (if even at that) ... The majority of acts from XF have flopped!!!!

I could imagine Cheryl being a judge on the newly revamped RIVALS along with Geri "Ginger Spice" who helped judge on the original "Popstars TR".

It will happen perhaps in 2014 after XF 2013 (which I'm guessing will be the last XF in the series)

What I did find strange watching the GA show last night, having lived through the X-Factor style wars, was seeing Geri sitting there in a big coat, no make-up, no stylish hair and just in general looking like she had just took the family dog for a walk!
