Earth Wind and Fire were great. I only caught up with them in the mid 80s when I heard their 'The Collection' album.

Hmmm.

Buffalo Soldier is one of those songs I really hate with a passion.
You dislike songs that really 'say' something then

Agreed.

A joy so far.

Maybe the best they've shown.

A mixed bag of music this evening

At least there are no football songs this evening. Unless you count "I dont want to go to Chelsea"

Not at all.

I just happen not to like anything by Bob Marley.

To be honest though, reggae isn't really a music genre that I like an awful lot. I'm not saying that I don't like any reggae, just that the majority of it doesn't really 'do it' for me.

His first album is his best for me, though this song is catchy.

Possibly the best of his era.

Hands off there Peter

Funnily enough I didn't tape "Chelsea" at the time, although a year later "Armed Forces" was the first proper album I bought.

This has been my favourite song from them, way better than the more famous one.

This isn't as good as Chanson d'Amour - and is the weakest main song so far tonight - but still good.
