Power Amp (Android) - can't believe difference in sound quality.
I bought Power Amp (music player) for my S3 as it had some good reviews Inc ones that said the sound was better.
I could not believe the sound was better but I bought it as it was on offer and can't believe how much better it sounds (even before I have played with the settings). I used to have Rocket Player (which was a great player) but still did not sound as good even after tweaking the sound. |

Here we go. Tweak the bass and treble controls to your preference
http://db.tt/egq1c3jU http://db.tt/EUpht7lA Click save to keep it. Then set the preset to flat. Then listen to a track, then switch the preset to the one above during the song and you should notice a marked improvement |

You should try DSP Manager. It's one of the best audio plugins for Android...and it's free!

Its good but ive found poweramp to be much better. Good thing about dsp is that it effects the whole phone and can make poweramp better as well

Sorry I missed all the replies and just assumed that the thread had just dropped off unanswered.
I'll have a look and "tinker" with the Power Amp settings. Cheers, Mark. |

Yeh if you try the second set of settings I posted you might notice a large improvement in sound quality. But then I guess it depends what music you listen too. Can always tweak bass and treble.
Oh and I agree stuart, poweramp user interface can be a bit clunky sometimes I listen to loads of different music (from 80's, rock, all forms of dance and even classical music sometimes). |
