I spent a day without my phone and it was liberating.
I spent the other day without my phone, I left it at home just to see what it was like....it was wonderful. No checking my phone every 5 minutes for texts, updates, emails nor general crap,
I became very very aware of all the people around me looking at their phones constantly...it made me feel sad that we now cannot stand still for 5 minutes without the need to relieve the boredom by look our phones constantly. I will be leaving mine at home much more often. |

Why does it make you sad?
The latest thing is using a iPad/tablet while driving.

I seldom take my phone out unless I want to read a book.

I just stick my phone on silent all the time and only bother answering it if I am in the mood.

I don't take my phone with me on holidays and on a night out it's put on silent and only used to call cabs.

I've yet to take a phone on holiday as well actually. We both lock them in the safe when we go away.
