I spent the other day without my phone, I left it at home just to see what it was like....it was wonderful. No checking my phone every 5 minutes for texts, updates, emails nor general crap,
I became very very aware of all the people around me looking at their phones constantly...it made me feel sad that we now cannot stand still for 5 minutes without the need to relieve the boredom by look our phones constantly.

I will be leaving mine at home much more often.

Why don't you just take it with you and just use it when you need to...I manage to do that every day.

Why does it make you sad? if someone has nothing to do what is wrong with checking your email or having a quick surf on the internet? No one is making you check your phone every 5 minutes you are choosing to do it.

I seldom take my phone out unless I want to read a book.

People moan that I am uncontactable but I like that way. I feel undersiege when the phone rings.

I find it sad when I see still using their mobile phones while driving. I see it many a time when I'm out and about.

The latest thing is using a iPad/tablet while driving.

I just stick my phone on silent all the time and only bother answering it if I am in the mood.

I don't take my phone with me on holidays and on a night out it's put on silent and only used to call cabs.

I've yet to take a phone on holiday as well actually. We both lock them in the safe when we go away.

Thats a waste of a phone, and not the best thing for reading books with.
Sell it and get a kindle or something
