Recently I changed my hotmail account to outlook via upgrade, but whilst this works OK on my PC, it has caused a problem with receiving the new outlook e mails on my mobile.

It was working fine on my mobile at first, but then came up with the message "unable to connect safely to server" ~ so I need to know what the POP3 and SMT server settings should actually be

I went into the mobile shop and they told me that the incoming server settings were wrong. The incoming server setting is currently pop3.live.com, with the Port as 995, and security type is SSL.

They have told me that the pop3.live,com is the hotmail server setting and not the outlook one, It's sending messages, but I am not receiving any messages.

The outgoing is set as smtp.live.com. The Port is 587, and the security type is TLS.

Somewhat oddly the scenario would tend to suggest that it started off OK, but for whatever reason, will not now work for outgoing mails.

The phone is a Samsung Galaxy Europa android.

Hopefully someone can help, although I appreciate that this is one of those queries that can be difficult to answer.
