Fading GaGa
Sorry i will be making a lot of GaGa threads, Do You think Lady Gaga is fading? If not What makes her have longevity?

Yes she has become more ov a novelty than an artist plus her last album was nowhere near as good as it needed to be. She just needs a great album with decent singles and to drop sme of her own hype and pretense.

Yet again she is still a big artist, FAME sold 6 million in one week and TBTWB has been mostly sold out!

No I don't she's fading.

What do I think is giving her longevity? Nothing 'cause I don't think two albums and four years in the game is having longevity.

She's had her 15 minutes of fame. People have moved on already.

She just doesn't have the complete package, intelligence, looks, talent that someone like Madonna has.

An artist who is fading doesn't tour worldwide for over a year. Her last album release was Spring 2011 and her next looks set for Spring 2013. Let's check back then, shall we?

This next album is very important for Gaga. It will determine whether or not she has just been a fad, like the Spice Girls, or has the potential to last a while, like Britney.

Lady Gaga cannot be compared to Madonna until she notches up four decades of constant success.

I agree with you, GaGa have been kind of fading this year since YAI and MTN flopped! i do hope ARTPOP does have success

Many artists aren't selling well these days.

The fact remains that Madonna is better in every way - it's like comparing a mouldy apple to an enormous orchard of wonderful fresh fruit.

Still, if you like this Gaga creature that's great , but if you don't like a different opinion then maybe you shouldn't have asked a question in a forum.

Justin and Britney had high grossing tours in their peak years.

Since Live Nation became the main promoter, Tours have become a completely different game.

Also MDNA hasn't flopped. Its sold nearly 2 million. For an artist 30 years into their career that is incredible. None of Madonna's peers can do this. Not even Micheal Jackson's last few albums did that well.

Will Gaga still be topping the charts in 2042 like Madonna did in 44 countries with MDNA?
