Sweet Mincemeat For Mince Pies.
What is the best not sickly sweet Mincemeat for Mince Pies?
I found a wonderful recipe last year for Mince-pie stars. Great to make and a real success with all who nibbled. I could barely keep up with production! lol. Anyway - this year - the mince I've found is all very sweet and sickly and hasn't been popular, so I'm throwing it out there.... anyone know any nice jars of sweet Mincemeat? Not to worried about the price as it's a treat. |

Have you ever tried making it yourself I used to make jars and jars of it every year but haven't this year for some reason, You can make it to your own taste that way.
I use delia's recipe http://www.deliaonline.com/recipes/m...mincemeat.html |

Aww, I was going to recommend the Meg Rivers mincemeat if you don't want to mix your own, but I just checked their site and it is all sold out
