Hi

Did anyone else see the new uniforms for garage mechanics, as worn by Minty and his twin??

Did Yes Car Credit ring a bell??

Good hunting

I know I noticed this! I'm sure they were just taking the piss out of 'Yes' because I've seen it on Watchdog before! At least it's true to real life & Beale is one of them people I would expect to be dodgey!

(Btw, I've never been to Yes car credit just saw an advert & watchdog)

Hi

We believe you!!

The only thing we have on credit is our humble home - and that is normally called a mortgage.

We have nevered paid a penny in interest to anyone -We use CC's, but never pay interest. You save yourself tens of thousands by not taking out credit!!

Business We feel that Yes/C/C may take action against EE and reveive free publicity.

Whoever was responsible for those uniforms needs the boot up its rear, IOHO!!

Kind regards

Would Minty and Garry really find it less preferable to work for Ian Beale than Andy Hunter ?

I don't see Ian ever threatening to stick either worker's head in the chip fryer !

I know, but at least they played Band Aid in the cafe, which can be excused, because it's for a good cause.

EE have always advertised - do you remember the endless Kellogs Cornflakes that Joe's mother used to feed him!

It's called "product placement" - the BBC aren't allowed to advertise per se, but they can use props with brand names on them and, I assume, receive a payment for doing so!

Hi

Most soaps tend to be using non recognised, ie won brands - EG, Emmerdale, the Dimgles drink many cans of beer, but the beer is not a real brand!!

Hi

We will look out for that!!

We've noted on many soaps and tv progs that they taped off tv names - anyone with a good tv could tell that the brand is normally Sony.

EE: We feel that the Merc driven by Andy pandy is a free advert.

Emerdale: The Rover 75 estate driven by Paddy is an advert - cheape car

Emerdale: The Volvo and Range Rover are regulars.

Cornation Stree: Mike's S Type Jag.

What really get's us is the blatant advertising by the Beeb in EE as initally mentioned in this thread.

We have contaqcted one of our associates at a very respected newspaper - who may be able to investigate, and write an article on this and we may be mentioned!!

Regards

Lucian

I want royalties.

in most programmes, you'll see heinz beans, but without the heinz bit and all cans will face away from the camera. Magazines and paper are even better. No-one ever buys a paper with a front page... no headlines in Walkford. Except the Metro, sorry, Walford Gazette.

We'll soon know for sure:

Minty: Can we have pay rise?
Ian Beale: YES YOU CAN!
Gary: Can we have more tea breaks?
Ian Beale: YES YOU CAN!
