Her high heels were at least 2 sizes too big for her and she couldn't walk in them.

When she gets round to talking she just runs on and on and doesn't listen to people and I'm assuming she knows nothing about dancing because of her poor posture so what is the point of her being there?”

She is quite scary and looks like an extra from a Halloween set with her hunchback posture and ghoulish appearance and squint.

I think she's lovely and for me, I'm thrilled she's still part of Strictly - she's part of the whole show now.”

Wow. Goes to show how "pretty" and "sexy" for some is "ugly" and "turn off" for others - and indeed vice versa.

Give the job to Zoe.

I suspect Denise is in SCD to audition for Zoe's ITT job

It's becoming uncomfortable to watch the way she peers at the camera, applies sad-eyed panda makeup and looks generally like she lives in the laundry basket.

She is smart and clever and knows it. Love her but think she's wasted on Strictly which is as smart and clever as a plastic see through santa rubbed in glitter with a fairy light up its jacksie.

I love Claudia, I think she's great. I think the main thing she adds to the results show is the simple fact that she's a million times better at interacting with people than Zoe or Tess (who are far to fond of their cue cards) will ever be.

I must admit she always looks like she's been styled by a five year old and then dragged through a hedge backwards. I agree, she is ungainly and hunched BUT she is actually a better presenter than Tess!

I agree with that ...... but she still comes across as a middle aged woman imitating an irritating little girl.

Personally, I think that Sir Bruce should stay for a long time! Ok, he messes up his lines from time to time. Ok, some of his dance moves are cheesy but I would much rather have him than Claudia or Tess doing it all the time. I think that both of them are better in the 'Tess pit' rather than fronting the main show! I also think that Zoe Ball is much better at presenting it takes two! I wouldn't mind if she were Bruce's replacement if Tess remained, as she has a much better style than Claudia and has participated in the show herself so has more of an idea of what's going on from the dancers' point of view compared to Tess and Claudia!”

Just for you

That's a good description actually. She's more like a carthorse than a thoroughbred though. Clomping around in those too-big shoes.

I don't mind the way she dresses but because the dancers and judges hold themselves well and always look immaculate it shows her in a poor light.

Isn't Eve Pollard her mother? She's a lot classier looking than her daughter and walks like she means business not like a broken puppet.

Wow, changed days from the uproar when she was replaced on ITT by Zoe. Then it was anguished screams of 'Noooooooooooooooooooooooooooo, please Claudia...stay.'

Claudia has always done 'intimate' sort of shows, she's excellent there, truly great on The Review Show, and when she hosted ITT.

But even though she's not the 'typical' big show host, what she brings is wit, sincerity, a sort of 'ordinaryness', in a way she represents to me the nerd in us all, and her pleasure at, and love of it all, is always deeply present.

Plus she is so classy, really, so clever, and kind and witty, in her quiet, Kookie way, that, for me she adds such warmth to the show, and an odd sort of sweetness.

What is poor is the fact that people seem to think that the only choices we have are either Bruce or Claudia. Is there really nobody better out there or are the BBC scraping the bottom of an empty barrel?

Claudia is SPECIAL, she's not the bottom of the barrel. She's a true, long term fan, and a clever and likeable and dedicated FAN, with years of professional interviewing under her belt, in other things.

I'd HATE for some 'professional show host' to take her place, who hasn't dedicated that commitment to the show, for years.

The Winkle is a familiar type of girl, I have had the pleasure to meet on a few occasions..
Public school dorm educated where the inmates call each other "bunny" and "bear"
They are often so excited that they enter the room literally "galloping" as if they were at pony club.
They are fun and eccentric, and usually marry a banker/lawyer type.
But they get to be somewhat annoying in time.

absolutely agree

she had the entire audience at Wembely in stitches of laughter inbetween the filming of the Results show - she is in a class of her own and is fabulous

I miss her on ITT

I love Claudia. She's different and funny, and irreverent, which for me is badly needed on the show. The one where Tess did the bruce job and she did the Tossanine was way better than the usual ones with Bruce. It gave Tess the opportunity to be a proper presenter instead of filling the role of the airhead arm candy for Bruce.

I do like her on the Len's Lens section though.”

Totally agree

Love it when Claudia's on the show - such a witty and refreshing change to the plastic hosts most programmes have. I don't care that she doesn't dress like a Barbie nor that she doesn't walk like a model. I have even forgiven her the almost white lipstick she has insisted on using for years.

She "peers" at the camera due to an eye condition which affects her sight - it can help a little bit to squint at an angle to see detail like the autocue. That's probably why she is just so good at discussion and interviewing, and not relying on pre-written tosh on the autocue.

I'm in the "Don't like Claudia" camp. I find her childish attitude very irritating. It's high time she grew up.

I love Claudia, when we went to show we were sitting next to tes & Claudia between takes. Claudia was witty & friendly to crew & public alike, tess switches it on for the camera then seams around like a diva.

She shouldn't be so vain then , she should wear glasses.

I agree with all of the above, I love the kookie act, even though she is very brainy, she has a natural warmth and humour which I find really endearing.
