I love Claudia, her show with Tess was the best of the series, slick and funny. I also wish she was back on ITT. But I do wish she would stand up straight !!

I can't believe what I'm reading on this thread. Claudia is an experienced and excellent presenter. She has been associated with the show for ages and clearly loves it. She is witty and funny and a natural.

'Her shoes are too big' what are you on OP? Of course you're entitled to your opinions but gladly, many of us do not share yours.

Why, thank you very much! I enjoyed watching that clip and it very nicely gives me some evidence!

You've made my Christmas and it's not even here yet!

For starters she is the most ungainly woman on TV - she lopes in all hunched over and can't even walk in a straight line.

Her high heels were at least 2 sizes too big for her and she couldn't walk in them.

When she gets round to talking she just runs on and on and doesn't listen to people and I'm assuming she knows nothing about dancing because of her poor posture so what is the point of her being there?”

We find her absolutely hilarious. We really miss her on it takes two, I love her humour it's batty and bonkers. I guess some people just don't get her.

Well they ARE too big - that's a fact. She might as well have worn the shoe boxes instead of the shoes last night, there was that much space at the back of them.

I do get that she wants to come over as cute and quirky and I don't dislike her at all but there are several people agreeing with me actually.

Good description. She reminds me of Miranda as she plays the nurse in Call the Midwife.

I love Claudia, I loved her on It Takes Two. But once she left that and they tagged her into the results show I have also wondered what the point is in her popping up for a total of ten minutes of screentime presenting filler bits.

I want her doing the main show really and thats the only reason I can think of her staying on for fluff and the producers keeping her.

I rather like Claudia too! She is gawky, awkward and her shoes are a miracle of mind over gravity.
And yet - isn't it rather refreshing to have a presenter who is not blonde, curvy and 6' tall in their stocking feet?

I don't know why - but she makes me laugh.

She doesn't have to be an expert on dance - that's why they have judges.

She's great, she actually brings personaltiy and warmth which is something people moan at Tess for not having so again, it's a case of not being able to win. Yeah, I'm sure she does put on the hunch a bit to look more awkward but so what? I like her quirkiness and I'd rather see someone put on an effort to engage the audience and who is genuinely witty and has rapport with the dancers rather than a tired old hack who should have called it a day years ago or a non-descript glamourous blonde who should simply move the show on instead of giving out incredibly awkward interviews.

Typical assumption that it is vanity (tuh) and that all eye problems are cured by mere glasses.

Macular problems cannot be improved by glasses. Nor by laser treatment, sadly. There is a possibilty that gene therapy can help but that requires a lot of research and application funding. I support Fight for Sight as our family suffers the same genetic problem as Claudia.

I love Claudia she is very sharp and funny. However I have for to say I do t really like her and Tess together. I think Tess's looks actually detracts from Claudia in a strange way. She looks out if place beside her. I like it when she is interviewing. They should not show both side by side they should have Claudia with celebs coz talking to celebs is what she does best.

When she hosted the show with Tess, she proved hilarious and intelligent. Definitely an asset to the show!

I also really dislike her overly blacked-up eyes (however, I've noticed they haven't been too bad the last few weeks and she looks much better for losing the panda look) - yet I really like her, she makes me smile.

Claudia's great because she's different - and long may she continue on our screens. So refreshing to have an intelligent person presenting a prime time show with an interesting personality.

I guess her ungainly gallop at the beginning of the show stems from the fact she is convinced she can't dance and doesn't want to try to compete with the Tess glide.
