Like the Groundhog Day thread there are so many great films that will celebrate their 20th anniversary this year. The whole list in in the link but some of my favourites include

You should also mention Schindler's List(even though I don't think it is quite the masterpiece that everyone makes it out to be, it is however, still the best film from 1993).

Remains of the Day needs mentioning as well. One of Merchant Ivory's best films. It also had Anthony Hopkins' best performance. A truly great performance that, and should have bet Tom Hanks' win at the Oscars.

Shadowlands is another worthy film from that.

Short Cuts - one of Robert Altman's best films was out in that year. After his comeback of 'The Player', he followed it up with 'Short Cuts'. Great stuff. In the UK it got released in 1994.

The Fugitive - Harrison Ford in another good action film. The TV show got a good remake. Who'd have thought it?

In the Name of the Father - A good drama. Good performances from DDL, Postlewaite and Thompson.

In the Line of Fire - Good thriller from Eastwood and co.
