I work with people who have alzheimers or dementia and its been a real learning curve for me.

I've come to realise life is very short and I should calm down.

when I'm 85 I will remember none of what I write here but I will bore the pants off some young carer repeatedly talking about BB and Alex sibley and I'll be so confused by then I will be convinced I married him and we had 3 kids called Jade/Nadia and Jonny and I fostered them out because they were nasty little buggers and the young carer will be nodding and smiling nicely at me and in the back of her head will be ....WTF is she on about again

I think it's important when FMs have been the subject of unfair scrutiny and attack that we realise who the heroes and villains are...Kudos to you Rachel....
