Didn't Ste used to knock Amy around? So now the Amy character would let her ex take her kids (one of whom is not technically his) to America and she says nothing about it, a guy who she has known to be violent? It's not in character for Amy but I think above post is right - this show thinks it can insult the viewers' intelligence and get away with it!

I wouldn't trust Leanne with a goldfish.

Giving the kids to Cheryl, would have been a better option.

Don`t know when you lasted watched HO because ste hitting amy was years ago. He`s a completely different character now. She wouldn`t have left them with him for 6 months if she didn`t trust him.

I can believe Amy ditched the kids (again(, but I can't believe she would let Ste just swan off with them to the States as he didn't' want her going with Lee. And who was that who turned up for Leah? Was it supposed to be Billy who was Ginger and not Mediterranean looking?! And he came and ask for her for a day and has now completely forgotten about her?? Poor HO, very poor.

Also, didn't Leah's Dad turn up a few episodes ago asking about visiting rights?

Maybe I blinked and missed the resolution of that particular matter, but I thought that would be the stumbling block which would stop Ste going to America. I thought the writers had deliberately thrown that curve ball to screw up Doug and Ste's departure and prompt Ste to stay and hook up with Brendan.

But apparently they just glossed over all that (did they?) and Ste was all ready to effectively abduct another man's child to go to America.

And this is not to mention that he was effectively abducting Lucas too. How long are we meant to believe Amy was going to be away for? Are we meant to believe that she planned to relocate to America as well (as if it's that easy)?

Let's just say it was a very poorly thought out storyline.

Not seen the last few ep's (and a heck of a lot can happen in that time in HO) but can I just ask, was Ste planning on actually living in America permanently or just or a few weeks/months?? and is it true that Leanne's actually looking after the kids at the moment?

Honestly, can it get more ridiculous? Well yes actually it can suppose. No doubt when Ste decides to return, he'll find the kids are now actually 16 but they'll be played by 24 year olds!
