Bluetooth with moto and SE
Hi
Just got the motorola v3 today (very nice phone) anyways i wanted to send a pic from my sony ericsson p910i to the V3 using bluetooth but neither of the phones recognise each other i first used the v3 to find the SE but it comes up as no bluetooth devices found even though i turned bluetooth on on both phones then i did it the other way round using the SE to find the V3 but nothing, any ideas on why, i had no problems with my SE and my old nokia 7650 is it a compatability issue with the 2 diff phones, any help on this would be great, thanx in advance to everyone

Hi
Just a update, my sony ericsson can find the v3 so i did the pairing, after that i tried sending a pic from the SE to the V3, got message from SE that it was waiting for a response from the V3 but never got one i tried it 5 times each time it failed so it looks like the problem is on the V3 side unless im doing something wrong, does anyone else have these 2 phones and has tried using bluetooth with them, also the V3 doesnt find the SE but the SE can find the V3 i find that strange, and also is there a way to switch the bluetooth on constantly on the V3 as it keeps going off every 60 secs, im at a loss with this any help would be greatly appreciated, thanks |

Ok, I got the Motorola A1000 yesterday, so I think we're using the same PC software, and i'll describe how I do it. MPS? MP3, do you mean (I'm not that technical either!!
)Sync up the phone and PC (connect via cable, and then press connect in Desktop Suite on phone), after opening Motorola Desktop Suite. Click on browse files (I think) and it should bring up your phones symbol, or a drive symbol saying something like 'Internal memory'. Double click, then again on documents, then on media files, and it should bring up audio/video/pictures/etc. Click on whichever type of file you want to transfer to your phone and then drop the files in there. I think. ![]() I'll be more useful by tomorow, when i've had a proper bash at it myself, but i've succesfully got mp3/3gp/mpeg/jpeg files over to my phone with no problems. |

I've got a Motorola V500 and i'm having to same Bluetooth problem. Other phones can find it but it can't find other phones. I think it says on the moto website that it can only connect to other moto phones.
