I was reading something about this the other day,i was going to sky + it but I just wondered if anybody has watched it and what they thought,is it real life like Most Haunted or like fictional story,s with actors.

It's flipping scary ! ( or I'm a wimp ) it's people "real" stories told with actors ,it's only one story over an hour .

It's fantastic! So scary! If my wife falls asleep in bed whilst were watching it I have to turn it off as I can't watch it on my own.

The thing I like about the show is its not your typical over hyped American nonsense plus the stories are told from credible witnesses like serving police officers etc.

It's much better than shows like a haunting etc.

The one I saw was certainly creepy. Scarier than a few horror films I've seen recently. Definitely a notch or two above the norm for this type of show.

The problem, as always, is you feel the hand of the editor in pushing the 'paranormal' explanation of the events. Ultimately, the implausibilities are glossed over and many questions left unanswered. You end up with a sense of only getting half the story.

I agree; I love a good scare. I have watched Sinister and Paranormal activity recently but find PW scarier than both of those films!

Cant wait to watch it,saw Sinister but didnt really like it,im going to sky + it and watch the first one in the day incase it scares me to much.

I've seen this advertised but for the life of me can't remember on what channel. I didn't give it a go because I thought it would just be another "Most Haunted" which I don't find interesting in the slightest.

Would someone be kind enough to tell me?

It's a completely different type of programme that reconstructs reported events and it can be found on the Really channel which is on Freeview, Sky and Virgin TV - see http://uktv.co.uk/really/item/aid/653273. (It's on tonight at 10pm on Really)

A couple of months ago, there was a poignant case where mother and son went off the road in a car accident and the mother was killed. An apparition of a dead woman appeared on the road where the car veered off the road. This "body" was reported by a passing lady driver and a police investigation started and they found the dead woman still in the car together with her still-alive son who was rescued. It came across as help from beyond the grave.

Last week's episode was creepy because it gave every indication of being true. It featured a UFO abduction case and all 7 witnesses passed polygraph lie detector tests (85+% accurate) and the chances of all them misleading the investigators were astronomically low. The Arizona state tester said their accounts were true and that he believed them.

I have only seen series 1 and really liked it.
Season 2 is on my planner ready to go its just I have had lots of other stuff to watch before this but its good and I like Paranormal witness

It's by far the scariest paranormal show on tv. I like that it interviews the people who were involved in the events & the reconstructions are well done. I prefer it to investigation shows because by their nature there's a lot of time with not much happening. PW has you on the edge of your seat all the way through & I have to watch something funny after to take my mind off it if late at night lol. The haunted chest has freaked me out most so far. The ep about the dead mother saving her son after the car crash was really emotional, a nice change from all the scary stuff.

I think the way round that one is to record them and watch them during the daytime/early evening and not at 9pm/10pm when Really shows the episodes because the images stick in your mind when you're trying to get to sleep !

Was last night's episode similar in quality to others that you folks have seen?

I have to admit, I found the main woman speaking quite fake and it sort of spoiled it for me. I like to be scared and was watching it at 11 pm last night with lights off. Am I just too cynical to be scared now?

At your service, Minnimo. I'd suggest watching a number of episodes because some events are more credible than others and some incidents featured on that series have actually been witnessed by law enforcement/military officers which, in my view, makes them more credible as does passing polygraph tests.

PS As I suggested earlier, this programme is best watched during the daytime and not late at night!
