That stood out to me too. I wonder if after Brendan leaves, Ste turns a bit nasty or better yet a bit trampy. Or maybe he turns all medieval on Seamus' ass.

Mm hm, Thats the thing, with Brendan, it isn't just some fluffy love plot, it opens up a lot of doors for them, as actors and as characters

Oh that Kieron interview was really nice!
The only thing that stood out to me was the whole 'Will there still be feelings between Ste and Doug?!' stuff...I hope nothing stupid happens! But I won't dwell on it because everything is just so perfectly imperfect at the moment! The thing is that there were no layers with Stug. What you see is what you get! they're a couple and they were getting married, one was in it all the way and the other was only half in it. It's a story that's been done a million times! Stendan is just so much more. Ste is like a different person with Brendan. Ste makes Brendan interesting and Brendan makes Ste interesting. They both work so completely well together and to be honest, even on a shallow level, if you're told so often that you and another actor have amazing chemistry it's bound to go to your head; you'll naturally like working with that person. There's a story to be told with Stendan. With Stug it really was going nowhere at all. I would be horrified to think that even for a second they contemplated not getting Stendan back together. BH |

It's very possible. Maybe they will go down some kind of depression/alcohol abuse or something.
Definitely. I'm so pleased we're finally getting it too. That line tonight where Brendan choked out "you left me" was just so powerful and it doesn't even take much. I'm in awe, I really am. BH |

I really love that interview. I think that deep down he always loved being a bit of a scally. Being constantly in super fluffy happy relationships is likely to get a bit boring for any actor, even if they are as talented as Kieron and PJ are. I think I'd like something a lot more dramatic for Doug than another 'perfect' relationship like Stug, so I don't like what Kieron said about that... even though he probably has to. And they most likely will have scenes together at some point when he comes back. I still want a badboy for him
But yeah, I think stendan are for keeps now. I don't think they'd break them up for stug because of the stuff with Papa Brady. It might threaten it a bit, but I don't think Ste would get back with Doug now.ETA: I think it'd be pretty amazing if Ste did something to hurt Seamus. Maybe that's what he means about him being a badboy again.

I've always wanted this to happen. When Brendan leaves/dies I really want Ste to go down a slippery slope and to be honest I think he will.

I like the interview a lot. Kind of good to know he's not doing stuff with John Paul.
It's nice that he's friends with PJ Brennan - is Kieron friends with everyone he works with?! Funnily enough I've just started watching Stug stuff on catch-up and as said above it's just a very straight (sorry for the pun) story. It's meh. If it was in real life you'd no doubt think they were a lovely couple, but perhaps wonder where the passion was. But on TV you want the drama, the epic love, the passion that can overcome anything in time. Stug - they're nice, their feelings are nice, nice nice nice nice blah. The end. |

This is embarrassing, but I was crying so much I didn't even realise that they didn't play the usual end credits theme tune. What a brilliant decision. I've only just noticed whilst rewatching.
Also, I love that when Brendan really gives in to the hug they fall back towards the stove a bit, and properly press against each other. |

Oh I don't think they'll get Stug back together, but I really hope there's no scenes like 'Ste is upset because of the Brendan/Seamus stuff and happens to run into Doug, who questions him about why, so Ste tells them and there's an underlying feeling of 'is something still there'?!' I would hate for Ste to even slip-up with Doug, even if the Seamus/Brendan stuff got overwhelming for him. I don't think he will, but stupider things have happened!
Anyway I'm not going to go about worrying about scenarios I've created in my own head! I do believe it will all be fine. BH That's just opening up the triangle again, which would be pointless. Stendan have won, as Kieron puts it.

Oh and I agree with you about the credits, I think the normal ones would of taken away so much from the intensity of that scene, like Lynsey's death. |

You don't get over someone like Brendan with a bit of a cry and a cuddle from a mate, that's for sure.

I didn't take kieron's "would it be water under the bridge? Or would there still be feelings and emotions there between them?" as a something that will defiantly happen, I think he was just saying it in general. Don't worry guys

lol really? Has he openly said he didn't like that relationship then?
Oh, and on Wednesday he joked on Twitter that Noah should come back. Clearly taking the piss.

God I love what they're doing with Stendan at the moment. I just can't say it enough. I feel like I need to constantly express gratitude in case someone at HO's is reading this thread, just to assure them they're doing the right thing haha!BH |

I think Kieron meant could they get to a place of being friends considering how emotional they left things.

It used to make me laugh. After Noah's last episode, he tweeted something hilariously dismissive like, "that's Noah gone." And even said he was Team Brendan when asked, despite Ste dating Noah at the time.
Oh, and on Wednesday he joked on Twitter that Noah should come back. Clearly taking the piss. ![]() The Noah stuff was very stupid. It feels like a relationship that just should have never happened. BH |

i thought Kieron meant after Brendan leaves Ste turns back to beginning but maybe he meant Pa -Ste things which i hope for this is also ...
While reading interview i wanted to know if Kieron knew Stendan was on the way cause Emmett had the answer "obviously" in his interviews. i am glad he mentioned this... And ALSO feeling for Doug is not a thing he is just trying to confuse us or teasing us as he always does so much good stuffs for today ... it was pretty hard to watch today's epi., being here with you helped me so much THANK YOU for that... ![]()

Interesting they aren't revealing whether Doug's coming back either. Why do we think that is?

Let's not worry about Stug now. Doug was a star shining in Ste's world. Brendan is the whole universe. They'd be taking a thousand leaps back going there again.
Ste got over Doug in half a minute. I don't think he'd ever get over Brendan. In fact, he didn't. They've been separated for months and Brendan is still his everything. |
