Oh dear, I feel like I should probably say that I wasn't overly panicking about what Kieron said, more just the thought crossed my mind! I probably shouldn't have mentioned it because it wasn't even on my radar much considering all the great stuff we've had! I don't even really think much will happen with Ste and Doug if Doug returns! Probably just a few awkward exchanges.

To be fair to Kieron, he was probably painfully aware he was up against a bit of a naff actor, and it wasn't doing him any favours.

Yeah, plus R kieron is a little troll and likes to worry us After reading that and Kierons Insight into Ste, I doubt he'd want to go back to the Stug stuff. It wasn't very exciting for him, that.

Reading back at the episode reactions, I really hope some people from Hollyoaks were lurking. Those posts are intense and beautiful, shows what a good job they're doing.

I couldn't say for sure but normally filling a thread takes about a week or two, depending on how much stuff is happening. When lots of stuff is happening it goes really fast, but these episodes are pretty much all we've been waiting for so it's probably a record amount written in such a short space

Apart from the "count to a million" threads, this is probably one of the busiest on DS. We're a chatty bunch, us Stendan lot, especially when we actually have Stendan.

Had a similar experience earlier. I was in the car (had been in the car all flipping day and still hadn't seen Wednesday night's episode!) so I was dying to get home and my friend said 'I bet you're excited to get home and watch Hollyoaks!' and I said 'Yup!' and he said 'Oh that sounded like you'd forgotten about it and were just reminded! Haha!' and I was like 'Nope, I've been thinking about it since I got into this flipping car!!' He laughed at me in disbelief and was like 'Really?!'

I don't get it, have they never really really liked a show before?!

A few things before I go to bed

I liked Theresa's line about the kind of love Ste and Brendan have, not the 'kiss on the cheek' type. Seemed a bit telling...

I really do think Ste's going to be a rock to Brendan. Brendan finally has someone to confide in and Ste will be there for him day or night, it's rather beautiful and like Kieron said, Brendan will look after Ste too.

Just want to touch upon what Sarah said earlier. The way Ste had to physically restrain him tonight reminded me of the police station scene. He just puts himself on the line and trusts him enough to do that. He knows only he can calm him down.

The Cheryl stuff is fascinating. I picked up on the hair style straight away, like a little girl's. Gosh it's great drama for all involved.

I feel totally drained but in a good way I have two weeks off now and I just want to engross myself. Tomorrow is going to be a Stendan day for sure

I can't sleep. I was browsing Twitter and saw three or four Hollyoaks writers comment on the pub scene specifically from Wednesday's episode. It's such a spectacular scene, it's nice to see it get noticed.

Did Emmett really hit that wall to the point where he bled?

I had a dream last night where Brendan and Ste were trying to pretend they were straight in front of seamus so they were on the settee in Brendan's house and Brendan had mitzeee on his knee and Ste had chez on his and they were eating donuts, but Brendan an Ste were slyly holding hands under a cushion.

Wow. I didn't comment again last night as I was emotionally wrecked after viewing that. So many good moments - they're as strong as ever and will be - I love Ste in this! Brendan broke me in two and Seamus is worse than I ever thought possible. That end scene with them in the flat was incredible - I was sobbing! I really need Brendan to let Ste in to what's happened - he needs him without question. That was clear as day when he was holding on to him for dear life.

Yeah so I'm broken.

I don't feel sorry for the stug fans at all. It was never the right ship, was obvious from day one. We also had to endure that mushy drivel for months! Look at what happens when you put Stendan back together?! Dublin has proved that!
