Ally I had a question for you actually. Did you see any similarities between Seamus and Silas? In the sense that Seamus was trying to be all charming to Frankie in that way Silas used to be all accomodating to villagers. In a way I didn't because Seamus was so much creepier, and even Frankie seemed unsettled. Or was I just projecting my own unease?

Understand completely! I'm 85% about Brendan, and 15% about Stendan. I love them together, but more than that I just love seeing Brendan being happy, whoever it's with.

All the soap ratings are lower at the mo, people are doing Christmassey things instead. The buzz on Twitter was almost as high as during the crash episodes.
Hi there Stendonians, remember me? I'm a Chryedian at heart but have got a lot of heart for Stendan too and have just been catching up on Stendan week and couldn't resist dropping by to say CONGRATULATIONS ON GETTING A FAB WEEKS WORTH OF EPS AND STENDAN ARE FINALLY OFFICIALLY TOGETHER! I am utterly happy and even welled up at the beautiful kiss on the bridge.
I look forward to seeing how their relationship develops and what with Brendan's dad in the mix how Ste will be the one to protect his moustache man from the evil in a role reversal that could bring Ste's violent side return in a reasonable way!
I would love to drop by here on a much more regular basis if you would have me (?) now that Chryed are living a blissfully happy existence and I can only hope and wish the same for Stendan!

I can't see any real similarities between Silas and Seamus ayla, both very different types of animal.
I think Seamus might be a bit more scary than Silas despite the fact we don't know that he has ever killed anyone or even hurt anyone other than Brendan.
He seems a lot more aware of what he is doing than Silas did, if that makes sense, he is more calculating.
I'm terrible at articulating what I mean but Silas just seemed like a madman while Seamus seems like an evil one.
Wouldn't really want to be stuck in a lift with either of them mind you.

I think people that dislike stendan are in the minority otherwise the show wouldn't portray them anymore and I guess they have other ways to know what the public wants rathern than just the main thread or us on digital spy

No one in their right mind would wish someone who'd been abused in such a vile way as a child more pain. I love that Ste is the light at the end of the tunnel.

the fact for me is that despite knowing that both silas and seamus are criminals I found silas creepy only in the moment he was materially committing his crimes while he could come across as an old charming man in his daily life on the other hand I feel seamus is just creepy and disturbing even if he's just breathing

heavily feature Brendan's story don't
seem to do as well as other high profile
eps that don't feature him.
Brendan is probably the most popular
individual character, Emmett probably
has the most fans, along with Kieron
and the Stendan fanbase. But, it doesn't
seem to reflect the ratings, like you would
think. But as long as the show seems happy
with Brendan/Stendan, I'm not worried.
