I know I'm really late to the party with this, but can I just say that Emmett and Kieron answered this question so thoughtfully and perfectly.
They just get it don't they?

God that bloody pub scene might just be my favourite ever. You can just totally get in the zone and feel everything that Brendan is feeling.

When he's throwing the glasses and pulls Ste in and kisses him, its just so poignant. Back as that scared 14 year old he never would have thought he'd be standing in there kissing the bloke he's in love with. It just makes my skin all tingly thinking about poor tortured, scared, closeted brendan, now getting everything he was too terrified to admit that he ever wanted.

I'm feeling so bloody gushy. But now, i must sleep.

Best brace myself for the barrage of emotional crap thats going to be flung around these next few weeks.
I think it might be one of my favourite ever scenes too. There was just so much that was poignant about it.

It was genuinely disturbing, with what Brendan was saying, but at the same time the stuff with Ste and the smashing of the furniture (the past) was so hopeful. It was wonderfully done.

I kinda liked that them smashing the bar up was like smashing the bad memories and they replaced it with new ones. It will still be there but being there with Ste changed his meaning of that pub and made it a little better. Purely for Ste's angelic face.
How cathartic for him, it was so perfect. I admitted to a few friends today how into this relationship I am. Interestingly enough so were three of them. The joy of being out and proud as a Stendan fan.

They really do. And it's so wonderful seeing them be so enthused, and I think it's genuine, about the story.

In the past 2 years, there have been many times where it felt like we were on one of the unluckiest ships ever, and for all that I know it's going to end in beautiful tragedy for them, I do still think we have been treat best as a fan base, by the way the story has been delivered. We've had our shit, the countless punches and the goin round in circles, Ste getting married, but compared to the other soap fandoms, like aarson, we haven't been dealt that much shit really, and Christ the rewards we reap have been off the scale compared to any of the other ships, I mean guys, we actually got our loved up boyfriends in Dublin. I can't help but feel that we are very lucky as fans, and I don't care what anyone says about us being pandered to. The story that's ring told is infückingcredible.

It's funny how when you watch something loads, you enjoy different little bits each time. I love how Ste is at the outside bar, how he says "I'm a tourist" and wrinkles up his nose.

Does anyone know the name of the song playing when they're walking along the pier? It sounds like Bon Iver, but I don't know what it's called.

I don't think I have anything original to say that hasn't already been covered, but that was AMAZING. Everything I wanted and more, and even better than yesterday's episode.

The bed scene was so sexual Kieron and Emmett sold it completely - it reminded me of red shirt day, the way Brendan kissed him softly twice, and then they started kissing properly. And it's a brilliant example of making a scene really suggestive without breaking any pre watershed rules.

The scene in the pub was so moving. It was really beautiful how Ste just brought Brendan out of that darkness, like only he can. And then the scene at the end with Cheryl - public love at last.

So worth the two years of waiting.

I've returned from seeing people.

Still in all of a fluster after tonight, and I don't think I will ever be able to articulate how it made me feel. Cried re-watching the pub scene. It was just haunting and then suddenly, Ste just says it how it is and Brendan realises that no-one has or will ever understand like Ste.

God bless this forum and Kieron and Emmett for being so passionate about the story. Without them, I don't think it would be half of what it is.

YES. So cute.

Part of me thinks that it was so loely to watch, because it was Emmett and Kieron, but saying words that had been written in that scene

Still not over that scene. Even a little bit. The last gif seriously does look like they're having sex.

I know. It was very sensual and erotic and yet they didn't really do anything that couldn't have been done at the timeslot.

It really does.

I absolutely blush when Ste says "sounds promising", he sounds so turned on.
