Dancing on Alice? If I was Alice Beer I'd be worried...

On a serious note, I think they could be a bit more adventurous with the promotion. They could have at least got a website up and running, put a few training clips on there and speak to the judges and give people who want it an overall feel of the show. The papers aren't even flicking a wet flannel at it at the moment; let alone getting over excited; I'm sure there was more hype around the likes of Britain's Got Talent and X Factor when they launched even if they didn't dive into 10m figures straight away.
I also think they really make a mistake with the judging panel as well; why pick Jo Brand when they could have had Peter Kay?

What's working in it's favour is BBC One is quite weak on Saturday; it's only starting five minutes after Britain's Brightest so the latter doesn't have much of a headstart. The football lead in will hurt it, though.

Is it in his contract that he is only allowed to wear trunks, I wonder?
