Request please for Father Brown's figures yesterday afternoon (BBC1) and if it's still beating Doctors?
Thanks in advance.

Well if they can bore us with Doctors everyday they can give us 10 Father Browns every year I would have thought.

They do very well too and makes a change from the usual daytime fare. I've been watching Father Brown in the evenings and enjoy it. Could work in primetime.

I do wonder how much The Big Bang Theory would benefit in a similar slot on Channel 4, because those demographics are superb for E4. Second for last Thursday (10th January) in the 16-34 demographic, only behind EastEnders with 993k (19.0%), higher than any Channel 4 programme that day, including The Simpsons and Hollyoaks.

Ronant did you see the weather forecast for Sunday? Potentially more significant snow for the south east and eastern side of the country. Could mean Monday and possibly Tuesday could see a ratings boost.

Yep the forecast is nuts! Everyone in my household has been at home today, looking forward to seeing the ratings tomorrow! 13cm of snow at the last count!

BBC One are airing a news special on the snow () at 7.30pm tonight in place of Question of Sport. I'm sure that will excite some of you.

A new episode of The Big Bang Theory on E4 had 1.86m (7.5%) inc +1.
this makes E4s decesion to stop airing Big Bang Theory episodes, so it can air HIMYM episode instead seem very odd.

I knew we'd get a snow special once the bad weather hit the south.

Where do you live Robbie?

The South can cope it's just the media always tend to think that when it snows in the South it's the end of the world! Mind you the South doesn't have much significant snowfall compared to Northern parts of Britain. The South also has unbearable heat and humidity in summer compared to the rest of the country! I guess that outside of Glasgow, Edinburgh, Manchester and Birmingham, there is a huge potential for travel disruption in the South considering the major train stations in London, the two main UK airports and of course disruption to motorways coming/going to and from North/South.

the snow is coming down here now, and looks like it will only get worse over the weekend, the BBC weather site cant make up its mind from one moment to the next. The papers have totally over hyped the situation as per usual.

Look for some interesting ratings.

Next week we are looking at balmy temperatures of 5 degrees! Mainly dry and cold with frosty nights and freezing fog is the forecast for next week.

The snow has been a complete non event here. There has barely been a flake all day in Yorkshire and Lincolnshire.

Look North will be cancelling their live OB from a snow drift and digging out some filler stories for 6:30pm tonight!

North Lincolnshire, but not South Lincolnshire maybe.

Demographics, excluding +1:

Waterloo Road
Children 4-15 - 469k (23.6%)
Adults 16-24 - 437k (25.4%)
Adults 25-34 - 337k (11.9%)
Adults 35-44 - 535k (16.4%)
Adults 45-54 - 703k (16.9%)
Adults 55-64 - 401k (9.9%)
Adults 65+ - 797k (12.1%)
Obviously a young skew but the notable part of this is that within the popular 16-34 demographic, it is the younger half of this which is high, the half which if it was on ITV wouldn't be the lurative half.

It looks like the ridiculous storylines are mostly only entertaining under 25s, as everyone else sees how poor it is thesedays compared to previous series.

Well the Met Office for me are forecasting snow on both Monday and Tuesday, with a top temp of 1.

I think it's likely there will be some more but detail's of where is a bit elusive at the mo.

No snow in Yorkshire? I thought you would have seen some today.

I wouldn't believe any weather forecast for snow until 24 hours before, as it can easilly turn to rain or drift of course.

Today's snow was originally going to centre on maybe the southern pennines/peak district, but then drifted to South Wales by the time it actually happened.

I believe there has been a bit on the North Yorkshire coast but nothing but a bit of wispy icing sugar blowing about anywhere else.

No school closures, no train changes, no bus problems, roads quieter than usual! Even the snake & woodhead passes are still open.

That's a very wise thing today. Someone was saying to me that snow was expected for 3pm in their area and it hasn't arrived.
