A near faultless night for BBC1 with Ripper Street the only questionable performer. And even then that's purely by comparison to the rest of the night. In isolation Ripper Street's figures are perfectly fine and that it got a nice boost from Call the Midwife this week will be please the BBC I'm sure. Also all credit to Blandings which held up very well indeed.
In contrast ITV had a bit of a worrying night. They haven't quite strayed into disaster territory just yet but its not looking especially positive for them. That's a huge drop for Mr Selfridge week-on-week. As with Ripper Street in isolation that figure is perfectly fine but the trend isn't looking good for Selfridge. Dancing on Ice meanwhile continues to stumble. ITV desperately needs a big new hit to anchor Q1.

Are you sure these aren't series lows for Dancing on Ice? The Sake Off in particular must surely be at or close to an all time low.
That its ITV's biggest show on Sunday night is pretty much irrelevant as well. Its supposed to be ITV's biggest Sunday night show. That Dancing on Ice is just ahead of All-Star Family Fortunes is not a sign of its good health. This is supposed to be their big Q1 entertainment format and its coming dangerously close to collapsing.

“Almost 2 million in two weeks? Didn't recall it getting nearly 7m for it's first episode but oh well.”
It did. 6.86 million excluding +1 and 7.3 million including +1. You are however right to say that it hasn't dropped almost 2 million. Its dropped about 1.4 million in two weeks.

“The two daytime game shows reached all-time highs on Friday and with the large amount of daytime viewers today, they may do so again. ASFF is doing much better with the 45-minute editions than the 1-hour editions. Splash is turning out to be a hit aswell having consistent ratings for the three editions so far,”
That you're having to reach into daytime for good news for ITV probably isn't a great sign of how well their year is going. Although why you're reaching in daytime when they have Lewis holding up well on Monday and the Trevor McDonald documentary doing surprisingly well on Thursday I'm not sure. And an episode of Midsommer did well a couple of weeks ago as well. I think perhaps you're overstating the success of Splash. Short of it exploding for the final or during a second series next year it has the looks of a solid utility player in line with something like In It To Win It on BBC1 or Take Me Out on ITV rather than a particularly impressive hit. And that Splash is the big success story of ITV's 2013 so far isn't great.
