Can someone confirm when she died in the soap. I am pretty sure she died christmas day or new year. Just catching up on EE and Kat referred to her saying '7 years ago yesterday'. I am presuming thats the so called day she died? Or have I got it all wrong?

Thank you, thought she died late than that.

She died and I cried like a baby, never been more upset or affected by a soap death.

No, she definitely didn't die on Christmas Day. That's when Kat and Alfie both left the square (and their story effectively ended).

I have never forgotten her because whenever they do scenes in the vic, i always seen that picture of alifie, kat and Nana moon laughing.

Nowdays, a character like Nana who was so warmhearted and innocent would never be brought into the show.

I dread to think what the current writers would have done with her had she still been around. Poor Nana would be ashamed of what Kat's done to her Alfie. She's broken him.
