It doesn't look like they are using hands at all, and I am not all to sure if coffins can be rightly supported just by shoulders

I think it's one of those Hover coffins you can get.

I suspect Harry Potter is there hidden under his invisibility cloak whispering the words 'Wingardium Leviosa'

Or not

Ah, I see. I often associated coffin carrying with

but even with

http://i3.mirror.co.uk/incoming/arti...e's+Church

They usually have some hand on the coffin for extra support

I'm guessing the coffin is empty not filled up with anything too appear there is some weight too it, it will looks a bit ridiculous if they don't hold it up by hands on screen.

It does look rather odd, indeed.

Even if it was empty, it is not just about the weight, also about the balance. Heaven forbid the thing would fall!

Is Joey one of the pallbearers? If so he gets a chance to show his empty box acting yet again! Oooh these boxs of wine are heavy at the R&R! Careful Lauren this box of champagne for your mums wedding is ever so heavy.....damn this coffin is heavy....I wonder if he'll soon get a job on the market which involves heavy boxes that move as if they are empty...?
