Emily on Corrie..
Sorry if someone posted about this BUT...
Emily Really should be Banned from falling asleep in front of the TV. Last time she fell asleep like that she was nearly strangled by Richard Hillman and last night she did the same thing while looking after Ruby & Tyrone likely to get another beating. Emily is just not safe to be left alone in front of the telly .

Richard didn't strangle Emily; he hit her on the head with a crowbar.

Just not hard enough. Another that I loathe.
Couldn't stand her when she was Emily Nugent, can't stand her now. She drives me up a wall every time I see her on my screen. Sanctimonious old biddy. |

How can anyone hate Emily? She's about the only character on the street who could be completely trusted. Eileen Derbyshire is a great actress and it's about time Emily got a storyline IMO

The bad thing is, Fiz left the back door open, any nutball could have waltzed in and done something, then who would have been blamed for it?

As much as Emily is a nice old dear who would leave someone like her in charge of a young baby? She cant even remember if she turned her immersion heater off or not, and didnt listen for her just had a kip. What if there had been an emergency, she would be in dreamland.

I have to say for a poor actress she's done very well to stay in employment for 50 years.

She is a terrible actress and always has been for as long as i can remember, i dont think she adds anything to the show and how she has managed to stay there baffles me, sadly she wont ever get axed, the only reasons she will go is she decides to leave or when she passes away. I think any executive producer wouldnt dare axe Ken, Deirdre, Rita or Emily.

Ms bobble head aka Emily, is a pointless character and she's a poor actress. The oldies Ken, Emily, Rita and Dennis should all be axed but I doubt any EP would do that. All four of them especially Ken are poor actors/actresses.

I don't think Emily is a bad actress. She done well with storylines she has been given, such as Ernest's murder, his killer's return in 2006, and Ramsay's death. Better than the younger ones, who are mostly there for looks but get more recognition for that reason.
