CHRISTMAS PUDDING! *vomit*

I only ever used to eat it cos my Grandma would hide a quid in it! Apparently I'm too old for that shit now

When I was a kid I used to hate the whole Christmas dinner. I just wouldn't eat it. I love it now though.

Christmas Pudding and cream is my number one food on the planet above anything. Hot, cold, morning, night, it's fantastic. No idea how anyone cannot like it. People I know who don't like it, will often admit they havent actually tried it for about 20 years.

Go on, give it one spoonful, drenched in cream, for me. You'll be back.

Nor do I understand why people always bracket it with Christmas cake, which is nothing like Christmas pudding and a bit sh1t.

Mince Pies are fantastic too.

Didn't actually say what I don't like:

Sprouts, just vile. Cauliflower, cabbage, Turkey, another vote for Christmas Log, anything with Dips and Nachos. The last one might not be Christmas but they're horrible.

I love apple sauce but probably the only place it doesn't go, is with a dinner.

Strewth, what a fussy lot you are. The only thing I wouldn't eat over Christmas, or any other time, is meat!
As far as sprouts are concerned it did take me until my forties before I fully appreciated them but now, well I do buy them outside the festive period they make superb bubble and squeak.

In fairness, my list does contain everything I dont like.

Other than haggis and jalapenos anything not on mine, I'll eat, anytime of the year.

All the veg comes out of my parents' garden and is magnificent, including crisp and sweet parsnips and melt in the mouth sprouts. Their rich, black Christmas pudding is brilliant cold with cream.
The only thing I don't like is any shop-bought Christmas cake that comes with concrete icing, it always tastes of a sugar and chemical mix to me.

Any Yuletide food that makes you hold your nose at the thought of eating it?”

I completely agree with this. People seem to think Mince pies are amazing- not me - gross!

Ugh - you and me both. What sadist discovered that those things are edible (and that's debateable).

Turkey is another on my hit list - seriously don't like it

I'm shocked at how many of you hate Xmas pudding! That's it! You're all getting coal! I've had a word with Santa and he is DISGUSTED! Lol
My nan makes 6 puddings each year as we all love it. Although she's not well so my cousin is on pudding duty this year... Not find of the brandy sauce though... Or Cranberry sauce. I'll eat pretty much any food you put in front of me at Xmas

I love all Christmas food, I can't think of anything I don't like. Sprouts, parsnips, delicious! Christmas pudding with cream, mince pies and brandy butter. Hell, yeah!

Though I do have a few pairs of trousers specifically for use in January due to putting on a little weight

Christmas pudding, mince pies, dates, brandy sauce, one time I tried paxo, I tossed it in the bin, cranberry sauce. My gran used to have things like lemon curd and Dundee cake about at this time of year too..bleurgh.

I like my mums Christmas cake, and miss my grans clootie dumpling though. Sprouts are delicious anytime!

+1 for marzipan. Revolting stuff. I can never understand why anyone would want to spend hours making a fruit cake, then cover it in ear wax.
