Do BT VISION boxes have to be connected to hub to record freeview channels please help,dont have BT is box no use ? thanks anyone

How can i bypass bt vision box not connecting to hub so i can just use it as a freeview box, i dont have bt got box of gumtree ? thanks anyone.

You can't. Probably only thing you can do in this case is to use the HDD in something else.

Thanks 1 Andrew 1 could someone else use it if they have a Bt hub would it record etc and could they use ethernet power apts other than bt ones to acces their hub if it was upstairs ? thanks.

Why / how have you got a BT Vision Box if you don't have BT Internet?

got of gumtree £20 just want freeview + for bed room thanks.

The box is useless without a BT Vision account. Which also needs BT broadband and a BT phoneline.

So you've been done. Ask for your money back. I doubt you will get it, but you never know...
