Everything to do with the media is getting more disgusting.
It's comforting to see someone else saying this. I feel like it's just me who is so disturbed by the press these days. I ask again, why aren't they better regulated?

What the hell was she thinking posing with a gun to her head. After what has happened at Sandy Hook, just proves she has no brains.... Stupid stupid girl...

Full Story here.
A true airhead and just seems to take photos in her bra, it's most boring. She can't act, clearly a very pampered spoilt brat as we saw in the jungle. She hasn't learned anything since being in the jungle. A talentless airhead

She is easily the most stupidest person ive ever seen. Even if the shootings didnt happen, why would you take and post a picture of you holding a gun to your head? Most of her followers on twitter are little girls, so how on earth she could possibly think it was cool to post that picture anyway is just unbelievable.

But shes so far up her own derriere its unreal.

Personally I think posing with a gun to your head is extremely stupid full stop.

It has nothing to do with the American tragedy though and anyone making a connection is grasping at straws.

Its all just coincidental then right?

Its been blown way out of proportion, but then you'd think that she might have just thought BEFORE reposting the photo, that in the current climate, it might just be a tad inappropriate? The press will have little hesitation in stamping on you in order to get a story.

I wonder how many of the people having a moan about how insensitive Helen is have watched an action film or any kind of TV show involving guns and/or played some kind of shooter since Friday. I also wonder how many of those people thought twice about what they were watching/playing.

My sympathies go out to the families, but having a go at Helen for this is stupid.

I think the photo just goes to show the depths some people will sink to just to remain in the headlines. She is a child in a woman's body and needs to grow up!

Yh holding a gun to my head saying 'head f*ck' is exactly the same as watching a movie. Yep well done mate, youve totally blown me out the water with this comment.........

She doesnt even seem to think she did anything wrong. Forget the tragedy that just happened, why would anyone post a pic with a gun to their head? And she seems to be playing the 'bully' card and acting totally innocent

Saw the front page but did not read it, just thought she's been stitched up. And these parents who they spoke to are they actually named? If not then they just made that bit up like most of the crap they print.

I am more and more leaning towards government legislation.

I guess it's just about time and context.

If they were showing the film Titanic on TV tonight lots of people will watch and be entertained.

But if a passenger ship sank this afternoon and 1000 people were drowned it would be deemed insensitive in the context of what had just happened to show the film at this time.

Give it a few months and people move on and you can show the film again and no one is bothered.

Everyone is talking about the gun angle but I would be more concerned that she might be seen to be glamourising suicide.

Perhaps more ignorant are now the queues of people in America waiting to buy their real guns to shoot and kill at some point. How is that so acceptable to the Americans and no-one kicking up a big fuss and condemning them?

It's the media itself I'm talking about. Showing people getting shot and killed for entertainment (acted, obviously) is far worse than a picture of someone with a gun to their head. People are having a go at Helen for posting it, all I'm saying is that people are so quick to jump on their soapbox and have a go when there are people still showing worse gun violence to the masses via TV and cinema and no one is reprimanding them.

Now don't get me wrong, I don't think they should start pulling action movies whenever an incident like this occurs, but I also don't think anyone should get savaged for posting this kind of photo.

I think such photos are just as bad as gun violence in films. This isn't some innocent girl posing for a pic; this is a highly sexual picture designed to titilate. Flanagan wouldn't realise the significance of course as she's way too thick.

Die Hard was on the other night, perhaps the head of that TV Channel should be held to account for that too...................

The scummy tabloid i.e The Sun, must love those of you taken in and displaying their 'outrage' and 'fury' over this ridiculous non-story. They thrive on readers doing this to garner sales, and it doesn't matter who gets in their way.

Flanagan for not thinking before re-tweeting a 3 month old photo - ill-advised and should have thought twice.

The Sun for sticking these photos under the noses of griveing parents - Sick and incomprehenisble

It's looks like these rags are trying to get all their underhand practices in before the Leveson regulation actually takes place.

I'm sure the Sun didn't speak to the parents of the children who were shot, just the people on the streets of Newtown. I doubt those poor souls are in a fit state to be asked about the picture of a stupid bimbo they know nothing of anyway.

Shocked parents in Newtown, Connecticut, where Adam Lanza shot dead 20 children and six school staff, yesterday accused Helen of “brainless stupidity”.

One angry dad, speaking at a shrine to the victims, said: “It’s just ignorant. When the eyes of the world are on what happened here, to be posing with a gun like that is insensitive and stupid.”

Did you actually consider this post before you wrote it?

Of course watching a movie is totally akin to posing in your crunchies with a gun to your head - why didn't I think of this before?

As these are OLD pictures and not done since the shooting ... I don't see your point

I believe the implication is there ... To make the scum readers think they spoke to a victims parent...
