A really good time for EastEnders and I really enjoyed 2007 as a whole - it culminated in one of my favourite episodes ever in Christmas 2007 and the reveal of Stax. It made for a really "Oh god!" moment even though you could see it coming a mile away!
I really miss Stacey and Bradley. |

2007 was okish, but not great. Stax was a ghastly storyline, one of the most unfortunately drawn out in the show's history.
Nothing to write home about. In fact 2006/2007 marks the beginning of the end of EE in many ways. |

I'd not long since left school at that point. Can't believe it's been 5 years.
I quite enjoyed 2007. Ronnie/Roxy joined and gave some life to the Mitchell's again. |

Hardly.... it was fairly mediocre. The only reason it is highly regarded is because of the truly dire Christmases that have since followed it.

Was never a huge fan of the Max and Stacey storyline but i did love 2007 though. It had the whole Phil/Stella/Ben drama, the Queen Vic raid, Ian's stalker storyline and the introduction of the Masoods. No year since then has lived up to 2007.

I liked Stax. The reveal was great TV as well. One of the best 'big' episodes in recent years

No I won't alot of Eastenders fans loved Christmas 2007. Eastenders from December 2006-April 2007 was poor but them from May/June 2007-June 2010 it was really good

That's quite rude, it's only the posters opinion...

Agree with the general view that 2007 was a good year for thwt show, only the first half was pretty poor. It only really became any good towards the end of June, with the climax to the Dawn/May/Rob/Summer storyline.
Ian's stalker storyline was pretty mediocre until Stephen returned though (before his character got completely destroyed in 2008). The Xmas day episodes were spectacular but that didn't make up for one of the most tedius, long drawn-out storylines ever. And it set up nicely for 2008, which, to say the least, was a terrible year. |
