That's the rumour I've heard. A past Doctor will appear in each episode but in the background and not actually part of what is going on.

I've also heard that:-

With a whole EIGHT new episodes so far listed? Wow; I can't wait. Seriously though, unless we get a set of specials for the anniversary I'm going to be very disappointed next year. We seem to be getting less and less each year, not more.

I think it's 8 later in the year, as well as the series in April.

I am now prone to doubt when it comes to Moffats pronouncements but here's hoping he comes through this time and really delivers. Isn't that what we all want? The lack of news and spoilers on the year ahead can give you hope that just maybe something massive is imminent. Who knows.

What on earth did I miss last night, it's usually you telling me to calm down.

What has Stcoop said? I know he can be rude and unthinking at times but I have also backed him up in other threads.

We all disagree and lose our tempers on here sometimes but there is that, invisible and unspoken, line that we try not to cross.

You're usually quite calm/relaxed and not easily wound up (unlike me) so I guess I'm kind of shocked.

It started with his posting in here asking when we were all going to realise that moffat is talking bull**** and taking us for fools etc.

I called him a name and said (sarcastically) that we were all obviously thick as s**t (for being taken in by Moffats obvious lies) .

I then logged off. When I logged back on stcoop had been given a forum holiday
