This might seem a silly question as it's a fair few years old, but I'm guessing you're in your twenties so may have missed it when it was originally shown, but have you watched Buffy the Vampire Slayer?
The Tenth Kingdom was another good (old) one, though it only ran for one series, and I wasn't at all sure about it when I watched the first episode - but it grew on me from the second episode and I ended up loving it. If you liked Once Upon A Time, you might like this. I don't watch much TV these days (Once Upon a Time, NCIS and Person of Interest being about the only things I've watched recently) so sorry I can't recommend something more current! |

Parks & Recreation
If you're looking for an outstanding comedy show then this is it. The 1st season is so-so but the seasons afterward are fantastic. The cast / characters are phenomenal. ![]() Community Another comedy show and this one is extremely good with a great cast. There are many brilliant comedic moments not to mention some epic/classic episodes (paintball, anyone? ).Being Human (US) The American version is very good and goes in a whole different direction than its UK counterpart. Teen Wolf This one is a big surprise. It turned out to be much, much better than it had any right to be. I'm looking forward to watching the 3rd season. Fringe Wonderful show. The first season isn't so great but it's smooth sailing from the 2nd season on. It's currently about to end - there's only 3 or 4 episodes left until the big finale. Well worth a watch. |

I've got two for you to try out
Spartacus A great show lots of sex and violence and the language is beautiful. John Hannah and Andy Whitfield were amazing in it http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=m2CqtNeRK_w Battlestar Galactica One of the best sci fi shows I've ever seen with some great characters that will love to hate..then love! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hvYVR6XXsHA |

Criminal Minds - have watched all the series.
Not impressed with the spin off with Forrest Whittacker and his growly whispering way of speaking. |

'The Borgias' is a similar historic blood & lust show that just looks gorgeous ![]() For a bit more fantasy/SciFi try 'Continuum' and 'The lost girl'. I would agree with others on 'Game of thrones' and 'Fringe'

Well lately I've been treating myself to back-to-back episodes of Law & Order (all versions but SVU is my favourite) on the Universal Channel.
Am looking forward however to series 19 of Law & Order (commencing this Monday I believe) with Sam Waterston and Linus Roach (Ken Barlow's son). Brilliant TV. Oh - I'm also looking forward to the new series of Revenge!!!!! |

I love Person of Interest, I watched the first 10 episodes on Channel 5 last year. They then went for a crazy mid-season break in October, so I bought it on DVD from the US as I couldn't wait at least 2/3 months for it to return. Really enjoyed the last 5 episodes of Season 1 in particular, which is due to be shown on Channel 5 this month apparently
As others have mentioned Breaking Bad is absolutely brilliant, I enjoyed The Newsroom which aired on Sky Atlantic a few months back. Suits is another and I cant wait for Season 2 to start on 24th Jan on Dave. |
