Maybe next week she'll reach down his throat and pull his heart out and show it to him just for you!

What kind of kids tv show did you watch, I've never seen one that shows someones arm/shoulder being repeatedly slammed into a door.
I thought it was violent. Poor Tyrone

It's aired at 7.30pm, I personally thought it was violent enough.

Tell you what, you stick your arm in a doorway and we'll get someone to repeatedly slam the door on it to see how much it hurts! Any volunteers to slam the door on Ricks arm?

Why the hell is it called the "watershed"?What exactly has water, a shed, or a shed full of water got to do with 9pm tv viewing? Why's it not called kid's cut off hour, or adult time, or baby's bedtime? At least they make sense, a bloody watershed doesn't.

I THINK -and don't quote me on this - but In dockland areas they were watersheds. dock areas were notoriously rough - with sailors, prostitutes etc. If you stayed the right side of the watershed you did not meet the rough people, if you ventured to the other side of the watershed you were in with the unpleasant element (although plenty of 'gentlemen' ventured there for their bit of fun). Hence: watershed - the barrier between what is OK to see and hear, and what is best for children/ladies not to see or hear.

Though I do really want to hear an important BBC executive discussing things that have been "broadcast past the baby's bedtime."

I was actually expecting something more violent too. The scene could've cut as she clenched her fist or something, and then cut back afterwards with Tyrone bruised and bloodied.

What she did was awful, but hardly warrants being called "a severe beating".

I only realised tonight how much I hate how this storyline is being cheapened by Tyrone's affair with Fiz. They should get together after he's finished with Kirsty, although there are still heaps to explore in her background with her dad. I'm pretty sure it won't be touched upon, however. Sad really, because the character CAN be redeemed by delving into her past and have her work on it. She was, after all, a very fun-loving character when she first arrived, if a bit eccentric.

I agree with the bit in bold. The whole reason the violence started to escalate was Kirsty's paranoia over Fiz and Tyrone and her hating Tyrone being friends with his ex and suspecting something was going on when it wasn't. Then Tyrone constantly reassuring her that she was wrong and Kirsty having to relent and apologise for her unreasonable jealousy.

Now she has been proven right. I preferred it when Fiz was just looking out for Tyrone as a mate.

I thought it was violent enough. This is meant to be more of a family show, and at that time of night they need to be mindful of what they show. I thought it was a brilliantly acted and written
