Will Three give me a free micro-SIM?

I am on a SIM only Pay Monthly 30 day contract with Three and need a micro SIM. Will they give me a free one if I go into one of their stores? I rung them up and they quoted me about £6 to send out through the post.

Thanks.

They should do, I know I've had a replacement micro SIM in store for free before. You could always ring the store direct if you want to double check beforehand though, that's what I did as my nearest Three store is a bit of a trek away.

I was with a friend when he tried and initially they were a bit antsy about it. They wanted to cut his existing SIM, then they couldn't find a cutter so just issued a micro SIM anyway.

The till showed a price for the replacement before a discount was applied, it was free in the end.

No it doesn't. I've had about 3 sim swaps due to getting different phones that support micro/normal sim and it';s never taken more than 5-10 hours. Once it took about 24 hours but thats the longest i think.

haha no worries. Just every time i've done it hasn't been that long. I know a guy on O2 who got his sim swap done in literally 20 minutes.

My local three store advised someone to cut their existing sim or go to the market for someone to cut it for them as they can't help existing customers and it would take 3 working days for one to arrive so I guess it varies from store to store. As for myself. I just cut my sim card for use in my Nexus 4.
