Are they any good as I seem to have heard a lot of negative things about them. And how do you know if you're buying a vestel tv.

I have a 50 inch Sony Android TV in the living room £529
I have a Digihome (Vestel) 42 inch Dumb TV in the Bedroom £169
The Sony is stunning, the picture, the build, the style, the everything about it is a joy. However is it £360 better than the crappy cheapo Vestel? Is is buggery, the Vestel is superb for the price, yes it feels like it is going to drop to bits and yes when there is no input you can see the LEDs bleeding on the edges, SD looks crap but HD looks brill and i have even moved my PS4 in to the bedroom on the Vestel so i can play COD without annoying my wife and kids and it looks fantastic with no noticeable lag or blur.
Remember i am Mr A N Other though and not some open university nerd that must calibrate it all.
